I need to adopt a similar philosophy. I should be looking forward to football -- instead, I'm trying to figure out how I can juggle college, NFL and MLB at the same time, and honestly, I haven't had a lot of drive to put in the work for football yet.

yea i was wondering why didnt see a nfl or ncaa thread for you..plus side is nfl week 1 isnt really worth a damn anyways, i mean im obviously betting a little but mostly small hoping that stuff happens that gets sweet week 2 overreactions

..if baseball still going well for you then hell no point in stopping, of coarse even when i do bet mlb in aug seems like i generally shut it down in sept till the playoffs..
