The Gunners look to vanquish Leeds at home; Brighton would love nothing more than another offensive outburst; Erling Haaland will be on the prowl at Anfield; and Newcastle will like their chances on the road against lowly Coventry.

Best Premier League bet: Arsenal ML & Under 4.5 goals (-150 via BetMGM)

Arsenal won both of their home games by a combined 5-1, defeating Chelsea 2-1 and Coventry 3-0. While Leeds are undefeated through two road matches, drawing Brighton 1-1 and beating Nottingham Forest 1-0, facing Arsenal at the Emirates poses an immeasurably more difficult challenge.

Despite their abundance of talent, Arsenal have scored eight goals in five matches. It’s a decent total, but five other teams have scored more. Leeds, meanwhile, have conceded three goals, tied for the fewest with Everton.

I expect Leeds to put up a stern fight, but I’m banking on Arsenal winning 2-0.

Sunderland vs. Brighton: Over 2.5 goals (-124 via FanDuel)

Brighton have scored the most goals in the top flight, bagging 16 through five matches. That includes an outstanding 3-0 home triumph over the reigning champions. The Seagulls will face a challenging situation at the Stadium of Light, but I’m not overly concerned, as they have exploded for eight goals in two away matches.

Sunderland have struggled at home, scoring one goal in two games. However, they have six goals overall, and the Black Cats were outstanding at home last season.

Liverpool vs. Man City: Erling Haaland anytime goal (+125 via BetMGM)

Erling Haaland has scored five goals in his last four Premier League matches, including three in his last two away games.

Surprisingly, Haaland didn’t score in Norway’s two recent matches against Wales and Portugal. However, that will only make him hungrier to score his league-leading sixth. The Reds have allowed four goals in five matches, so their defense is by no means watertight.

And the towering Norwegian scored in the previous two meetings with Liverpool. At plus-money odds, I’ll take a chance on him making it three straight.

⏰️ Set your alarm: Liverpool vs. Manchester City

Coventry vs. Newcastle: Newcastle ML (+105 via BetMGM)

With one win in five matches, Coventry are reeling in the relegation zone. Their reintroduction to the top flight hasn’t gone as intended, with one goal scored and 10 conceded. Unfortunately, they've been even worse at home, losing both games by a combined 6-0.

Brighton unloaded on them for a 5-0 win, and they also lost 1-0 to Hull.

While I have no doubt they’ll be more competitive on Sunday, they face a Newcastle team that have lost once in the previous eight in all competitions.
