Jadan Baugh and the Gators will look to rebound against Shane Beamer's reeling program in my South Carolina vs. Florida prediction. No. 16 Florida is coming off a lopsided 45-17 road loss to No. 14 Missouri, while the Gamecocks just blew another lead during an overtime loss to Kentucky, falling to 0-3 in the SEC.

Florida is a -11.5-point home betting favorite at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, Fla. ahead of Saturday's 12:45 p.m. ET kickoff (SEC Network).

Florida -11.5 (-110 via BetMGM)

Baugh's been the primary production in the Gators' offense. Under first-year head coach Jon Sumrall, Florida has fed Baugh 95 carries, leading to 6.5 YPC and 11 rushing touchdowns.

South Carolina's defense is struggling right now. They now have star edge rusher Dylan Stewart back from suspension, but the Gamecocks' run defense has been porous all year, giving up 4.0 YPC in every start by Stewart.

Florida's run-centric game plan was foiled by a stout Missouri run defense. Now, back home in "The Swamp", expect Baugh to return to form, as the Gators have logged 214+ rushing yards in all 3 games played in Gainesville.

We're getting value on Florida at -11.5, moving from -14.5 since opening lines were released. Go to BetMGM and bet on Florida -11.5 at -110 odds.

📡 SBR Edge: Gator Chomp

Florida has the nation's 5th-ranked scoring offense, averaging 46.2 points per game this season.

Baugh and the Gators Run Rampant Over the Gamecocks

Expect Sumrall to have Florida's offense motivated after being shut down for the first time in their last outing. It's a favorable matchup against South Carolina, whose defense has surrendered 35+ points to 3 straight SEC opponents.

Florida QB Aaron Philo should be able to rack up production as well, with the Gamecocks giving up 12 passing touchdowns and 258+ passing yards in conference play. It's going to be a rout in Gainesville, as the Gators justify their top-20 rankings against an inferior opponent.

Score prediction: Florida 48, South Carolina 27
