The English top flight is back this weekend for matchweek 7, and I've identified my best Premier League goal scorer bets across a full slate of fixtures.

I'm eyeing Chelsea's talisman to hit the back of the net once again, while Manchester City's dangerous attacking duo should be busy against Ipswich Town. I'll round out my picks with Aston Villa's marquee signing, who should wreak havoc against Newcastle United.

Premier League best goal scorer bets: Matchweek 7

Here are my Premier League predictions for Matchweek 7 as part of our soccer picks this week.

Match Bet Odds
Everton vs. Chelsea Joao Pedro anytime goal +140 via DraftKings
Manchester City vs. Ipswich Erling Haaland anytime goal -190 via DraftKings
Manchester City vs. Ipswich Rayan Cherki anytime goal +230 via DraftKings
Newcastle vs. Aston Villa Nicolas Jackson anytime goal +170 via DraftKings

Best Premier League goal scorer bet: Joao Pedro (+140 at DraftKings)

Joao Pedro is firing on all cylinders for Chelsea this term, bagging five goals in as many appearances. He ranks second in the Premier League in scoring, behind only Erling Haaland.

Pedro netted a brace in Matchweek 6 against Bournemouth, and he also scored in his previous league appearance against Hull City. The Brazilian frontman ranks in the 78th percentile in non-penalty xG per 90, highlighting how consistently he's getting into dangerous scoring positions.

The former Brighton star is also in the 94th percentile in touches in the opposition box per 90, averaging 6.46. Everton have been a tidy side defensively, but Pedro is in ridiculous form. With three shots on target across his previous two outings as well, I like him to score No. 6 of the campaign on Merseyside.

Erling Haaland (-190 at DraftKings)

Haaland has become a weekly pick, and I simply cannot overlook him this weekend. Yes, the Norwegian's anytime scorer odds have shortened to -190, but there's still value given his current form.

The Man City superstar has a league-leading six goals, and he's found the back of the net in every game for the Cityzens since their league opener on August 23.

Haaland was the difference-maker in a 3-0 thrashing of Liverpool last Sunday, scoring the opening goal, and he followed it up with a brace on Wednesday against PSG in the Champions League, despite the 4-2 defeat.

The 26-year-old leads the Premier League in several analytical categories, including xG, xGOT, non-penalty xG, and shots on target. City's attack runs through him, and he has a knack for getting himself into dangerous areas.

His strike rate against Ipswich Town is also phenomenal. In two career meetings, Haaland has four goals. I'm backing him to produce the goods again at the Etihad.

Rayan Cherki (+230 at DraftKings)

Rayan Cherki has shown this season just how clinical he can be in front of goal, already scoring four times in six Premier League appearances. For reference, he only bagged four league goals in 33 appearances last term.

While the Frenchman failed to score midweek in the Champions League, Cherki had netted in back-to-back outings prior for club and country. The midfielder ranks in the 93rd percentile in xG on target per 90, and he's also in the 88th percentile in touches in the opposition box per 90, highlighting his ability to get into dangerous attacking positions.

Saturday presents another favourable opportunity against an Ipswich Town side that has already conceded four goals to Arsenal and five to Manchester United this season. With City returning to the Etihad and Cherki enjoying a productive start to the campaign, I like his chances of finding the scoresheet again at an appealing +230 price.

 Nicolas Jackson (+170 at DraftKings)

Aston Villa swung a last-minute deal at the end of the transfer window to sign Nicolas Jackson, and he's starting to hit his stride. The Senegalese international has bagged four goals in his last three appearances across all competitions.

Jackson just fired home a brace in a 6-0 thrashing of Fenerbahce in the Champions League on Wednesday, and he also produced the goods in back-to-back league outings against Brentford and Tottenham. During this three-match span, Jackson has registered an impressive 15 shots, with seven finding the target.

Newcastle have been incredibly vulnerable defensively, already conceding 13 goals in six league games and allowing the second-most shots in the top flight. With Jackson consistently getting himself into dangerous positions in the opposition box, he's worth a serious look for another tally on Saturday on Tyneside.
