France or Spain will advance to Sunday's World Cup final, and I'm expecting Les Bleus' megastar to be front and center once again as I offer my Kylian Mbappe props for Tuesday's semifinal (3 p.m. ET, FOX Sports).
Mbappe scored 16 goals in his previous 13 World Cup matches, bringing his total to 20. That's one behind Lionel Messi for the most World Cup goals all time. As part of my World Cup best bets, I discuss what to expect from him against La Roja, the pre-tournament betting favorite.

π° Best Kylian Mbappe prop prediction
Mbappe anytime goalscorer including extra time vs. Spain (+100)
Mbappe is as automatic as automatic comes in the world game, except, of course, from the penalty spot against Morocco. That miss was more of an anomaly than a French national not enjoying a fresh pastry or a glass of wine.
Mbappe scored in five of France's six games, bagging eight goals. He's tied at the top of the Golden Boot leaderboard with GOAT Lionel Messi, and he is making it look effortless.
Blessed with outrageous pace on the dribble and an affinity for scoring from ridiculous angles, it only takes a moment for the 27-year-old to change the match.
Our Gordon Brunt's France vs. Spain predictions favor Mbappe having plenty of chances to score.
π₯ More Kylian Mbappe props for Tuesday's semifinal
Mbappe first goal scorer including extra time (+340)
His goal against Morocco perfectly exemplifies the acute angles at which he can find the back of the net. And he usually scores first, opening France's account in five of six matches thus far.
He didn't score first against Norway, the only match in which he didn't bag at least one. The semifinal should be tightly contested, which makes Mbappe's propensity to score from half-chances all the more important.
He also scored first in three of the previous four World Cup qualifiers he played in.
Mbappe to score or assist (-140)
Mbappe accounted for two assists against Norway, the only World Cup match he didn't score. He also added a helper in the quarterfinal contest against Morocco, bringing his total to three assists in six matches.
Add that to his eight goals, and you can see why the odds for him to score or assist are so short.
He also added an assist in three of his previous four World Cup qualifiers, along with one in the last two Nations League contests. If he doesn't score, chances are he'll be intricately involved. That's a critical element, considering the match will likely be low-scoring.
