Best Premier League goal scorer bet

Erling Haaland (-130 at DraftKings)

A second week in a row with Erling Haaland as my top pick, and there's no shortage of evidence to back it up. The Man City superstar continues to flourish in the final third, leading the Premier League with nine goals in eight appearances.

Haaland has netted five in his last three matches across all competitions, and he's also notched seven shots on target during that span. Brighton is a side that has been solid defensively this term, but they looked more vulnerable last weekend, conceding twice to Liverpool.

Plus, Haaland's track record against the Seagulls is ridiculously impressive, scoring seven goals in seven meetings since he came to England. He's also hit the back of the net in four straight vs Brighton.

More Premier League Matchweek 9 goal scorer predictions

Nicolas Jackson (+135 at DraftKings)

Nicolas Jackson is really finding his feet at Villa. The Senegalese international was the difference-maker in last weekend's massive victory over then-unbeaten Man City, bagging both goals in the 2-1 win.

He's now scored four times in just seven Premier League outings, and the forward has five SOG across his last two games.

The one statistic that stands out for Jackson is his 5.88 touches in the opposition box per 90. That ranks in the 88th percentile in the Premier League. He's consistently getting himself into dangerous positions in the final third.

He'll produce the goods once again as Fulham visit Villa Park.

Morgan Rogers (+185 at DraftKings)

I've had Morgan Rogers in my picks numerous times, and this is the perfect spot to reintroduce him. Joao Pedro will miss substantial time due to injury, which means Chelsea is set to be without their leading scorer.

Yes, Cole Palmer, Pedro Neto, and others will also be relied upon to make things happen up top, but Rogers will arguably be their most important attacking threat for now. The Englishman has already bagged four goals this term, and he did find the back of the net midweek against Liverpool in the League Cup.

After breaking a two-game scoreless drought on Wednesday, I expect Rogers to be key in Chelsea potentially beating the vulnerable Manchester United on Saturday, who have conceded seven in their last two games across all competitions. Rogers also has two goals in four career meetings with the Red Devils.

Evanilson (+225 at DraftKings)

Evanilson may not be a household name in the Premier League, but he's irreplaceable for Bournemouth. The Brazilian frontman has scored three goals in eight appearances this term, including a stunning strike to put away United in last week's 3-0 victory.

The 27-year-old has bagged all three of his goals in his last three league appearances, and he's found the back of the net in four of his previous five outings across all competitions. Evanilson has also notched a whopping 12 shots in his last three games, highlighting his hunger in the final third.

He also ranks in the 82nd percentile in xG on target and shots. Evanilson will stay in top form against Leeds.
