Despite winning six of their past 10 games, the Preds are allowing the ninth-most shot attempts per 60 minutes during that stretch. Additionally, New Jersey has caved in opponents on home ice with a 58.1 Corsi For percentage at five-on-five.

Washington Capitals winger Connor Sheary has settled in with center Dylan Strome and winger Alex Ovechkin of late, and the trio has driven five-on-five possession with a 54.5 Corsi For percentage this season.
