The NHL has eight games for a busy Sunday slate without football. We're fading a few fatigued teams in Sunday's top NHL parlay picks.
It's the first Sunday after the Super Bowl and the NHL has a full eight-game slate on the docket. For our top NHL parlay picks, I'm looking to fade a few fatigued teams that played on Saturday in hopes of hitting it big.
Here are my top parlay picks for Sunday's NHL matchups (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5 star scale).
Sunday's NHL Parlay Picks
Rangers-Senators Under 6 (-105) ????Blue Jackets (-155) ????Stars in regulation (-155) ????

Top NHL Parlay Predictions
Rangers-Senators Under 6 (-105)
The New York Rangers and Ottawa Senators are both in the bottom third of the league in goals per game. On top of that, the Rangers are top three in the league in goals allowed per game thanks to Igor Shesterkin's league-leading .938 save percentage this season.
These two teams' offensive struggles make sense given their underlying metrics. The Rangers have the fifth-lowest expected goals for per 60 minutes at 5-on-5 play (2.23) while the Senators are only slightly better at 2.32, the eighth-lowest.
It helps that the Senators are on the second half of a back-to-back. Ottawa lost 3-2 in overtime to Boston on Saturday night in a game that only had three goals until late in the third period. The Sens have made a habit of playing low-scoring games this season and especially recently. There have been five goals or fewer in 12 of their last 14 games.
The Rangers like to play Under games as well. They've gone Under six goals in two straight and four of their last five games.
With Shesterkin in net and the Senators wanting to slow things down, it's shaping up to be another Under game for these two teams and our NHL parlay picks.

Blue Jackets (-155)
Like the Senators, the Buffalo Sabres are on the second half of a back-to-back after an afternoon loss to the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday. They had to travel to Columbus, where the suddenly red-hot Blue Jackets are waiting for them.
Columbus has won four of its past five games and six of its past eight. The Jackets' only losses in that span came to two of the hottest teams in the league: Calgary and Florida. Against weaker opponents like the Sabres, the Jackets have won 7-4 (Chicago), 2-1 (Montreal), and just beat Buffalo 4-3 in overtime last week.
This is the Sabres' 10th game on no days rest this season. So far, they are 1-4-4 when playing on the second straight day. They're also just one of the worst teams in the league, period. Buffalo has a league-worst 44.46% xGF at 5-on-5 play this season.
The Blue Jackets have a better record than Buffalo this season, are better at home than the Sabres are on the road, and have a better track record recently. The rested Jackets should handle the fatigued Sabres.
Stars in regulation (-155)
We’re once again fading a tired team after a loss on Saturday. The Arizona Coyotes hung with the Kings at home before Los Angeles pulled away in the third period for the win. Things don't get easier for them with the Stars coming to town. Arizona is 3-8-0 on no days rest this season while Dallas is 10-8-1 on one day of rest.
Dallas has won two straight and four of its last five games. The lone loss was to the Avalanche, whom the Stars beat two nights later.
The Coyotes are barely above the Sabres with the second-worst xGF (44.73%) at 5-on-5 this season. Dallas isn't lighting the world on fire but sits in the middle of the pack at 49.56%.
The Stars also have the upper hand in net with Jake Oettinger (15-5-0, .921 SV%, 2.36 GAA) projected to face off against Scott Wedgewood (5-11-3, .900 SV%, 3.22 GAA).
I'm willing to risk Dallas in regulation in my NHL parlay picks rather than laying the juice on the moneyline. Arizona's last 10 losses were all in regulation. The Stars should put them away in 60 minutes.
Combined Odds: Rangers-Senators Under 6 (-105) + Blue Jackets (-155) + Stars in regulation (-155) = +428
