Most of the league is in action on Saturday during a loaded 12-game slate, which provides a ton of betting market depth for my NHL predictions today. I've found three players to prioritize, specifically in the player points prop betting market, due to their talent or a favorable matchup.
Carter Verhaeghe has been one of the top players in the Panthers lineup this season. He'll look to extend his point streak to six games on the road against the Capitals on Saturday. Jake Neighbours and Thomas Harley are my other two picks to log a point.

Florida's offense has been running through Verhaeghe lately, as the second-line forward has racked up three goals and four assists on his current five-game point streak. On Saturday, Verhaeghe faces Washington goaltender Logan Thompson, who is struggling.
Thompson has allowed seven goals in his previous two starts, posting an underwhelming .887 save percentage in nine appearances for the Capitals this season. It's a prime opportunity for Verhaeghe to extend his point streak, especially with 18:16 ATOI, including the Panthers' top power-play unit.

Harley cashed the Over in two of his last three, including a pair of assists against the Capitals. He also notched six SOG in his last game against the Blue Jackets.
Alex Nedeljkovic is a turnstile in the crease for the Sharks right now. He's allowed 4+ goals in consecutive starts, and the Sharks allow the fourth-most shots on goal.
