Georgia vs. Ole Miss Prediction: Week 10 Odds, Picks & Best Bet (Nov. 7)
Last Updated: November 7, 2026 3:45 AM EST • 3 minute read X Social Google News Link
My best Georgia vs. Ole Miss prediction highlights how the defense of No. 2 Georgia will be able to slow down the high-powered offense of No. 10 Ole Miss. Ole Miss enters averaging 37.1 points per game, but I expect Trinidad Chambliss and his offense to grow frustrated against a defense that has allowed more than 20 points only once all season.
Georgia is favored by 3.5 points ahead of tonight's 7:30 p.m. ET game at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Miss. The game will air on ABC and stream on ESPN Unlimited.

Georgia -3.5 (-110 via FanDuel)
Georgia is averaging 41.0 points and 450.9 yards per game. The Bulldogs' balanced offensive attack features the third-best rushing offense and the fifth-best passing offense in the SEC.
While Ole Miss ranks ninth in the SEC in points allowed per game (24.0), the Rebels rank 15th in yards allowed per contest (383.9). Ole Miss has faced four currently ranked teams. Those four opponents are averaging 28.25 points per game, despite Missouri scoring just three. In the other three games, Ole Miss has allowed 110 total points.
Ole Miss ranks 12th in the SEC in passing yards allowed per game (235.0) and 13th in the SEC in rushing yards allowed per game (148.88). If this game is a shootout, Georgia has the fourth-ranked scoring offense in the nation and is more likely to consistently score. If this turns into a lower-scoring game, Georgia also has the advantage with the 11th-best scoring defense in the nation.
📡 SBR Edge: Rebels' turnover issues could prove costly
Ole Miss will need to play a very clean game to win. However, I'm not sure the Rebels can, as they rank 99th in total turnovers (12) and 109th in penalty yards per game (67.0)
Georgia's secondary will be too much for Chambliss
With running back Kewan Lacy out, I don't expect the Ole Miss backup running backs to have any success on the ground against Georgia's ninth-ranked rush defense.
Chambliss will need to win this game for Ole Miss, and while he's thrown for the 13th-most yards in the nation and managed 362 yards against Georgia in last year's Sugar Bowl, Georgia's pass defense has been great this season. Georgia ranks 33rd in passing yards allowed per game (186.6) and is tied for ninth in yards allowed per attempt (5.9).
While Ole Miss is averaging the 18th-most passing yards per game (282.1), Chambliss is averaging only 7.4 yards per attempt, which ranks 74th nationally. Earlier this season, Georgia held an Alabama passing attack that is averaging 9.2 yards per attempt to just 5.9 yards per attempt.
Play to: Georgia -3.5 at -120. The Ole Miss offense is too dangerous to push this to 6.5 or 7.5.
Score prediction: Georgia 27, Ole Miss 21
