Last Updated: November 3, 2026 10:36 AM EST • 3 minute read Google News Link
My top NHL predictions today cover Tuesday's 11-game slate, headlined by my favorite player prop targeting the Mammoth's Clayton Keller.
I'm also wagering on a low-scoring matchup in Philadelphia and backing the high-flying Avalanche on the road against one of the league's worst clubs.

NHL best bet today
Clayton Keller Over 0.5 assists (-105 via DraftKings)
Clayton Keller is the top setup man on one of the highest-scoring teams in the league. He has 14 assists in 15 games this season, ranking 11th in the NHL. The Mammoth captain enters today with at least one helper in five of his last six appearances.
Tuesday's opponent, the Maple Leafs, are allowing 3.3 goals per game. Toronto's overmatched defense struggles to keep dangerous shots out of their net, regardless of who's in goal. A high-scoring matchup will give the Mammoth's top forwards plenty of opportunities to get on the score sheet. Of that group, I love backing Keller to log an assist at DraftKings' -105 odds.

Wild vs. Flyers Under 6 (-115 via BetMGM)
These are two of the top Under teams in the league, combining for a 21-10-1 record to the Under this season. The Wild get more shine as one of the league's best on their own end, but both teams are receiving phenomenal goaltending if you look at the underlying metrics.
Philly and Minnesota rank in the top eight in goals against below expected, per MoneyPuck. With the Flyers ranking dead last in goals for per game and the Wild sitting third-best in goals against, I like my chances of cashing this bet in a 4-1 or 3-2 Wild victory tonight. Betting a 6-goal total gives us some extra push protection compared to the 5.5 total at other best sports betting sites.

Avalanche -1.5 (+190 via DraftKings)
Oddsmakers don't love Colorado's chances of winning by two goals on the second night of a road back-to-back, but there's evidence to the contrary in this mismatch between the Avalanche and the Blue Jackets.
The Avalanche are one of the league's top clubs against the spread (10-5), while the Blue Jackets are the NHL's worst (4-8). Colorado enters this matchup in solid form, having won four of its last five games by multiple goals, and they've won three straight matchups against Columbus by an average of 3.7 goals. I wagered a half-unit on the Avs covering the -1.5 spread at DraftKings' market-best +190 odds.
