Much like the home run in baseball, touchdowns in football are a spectacle of the sport. Several six-point plays occur each and every week. Trying to predict who will be responsible for them, however, can be a frustrating proposition.

To that end, the following three players have shown a propensity for finding the end zone this season. They are also in matchups that should allow them to continue that trend. Betting on touchdowns can come in many forms to include anytime, first, last, or even multiple scores. The kind of bet is designated for ease of reference.

Jamaal Williams Anytime TD (-111) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Despite not crossing the goal line in his last three outings, Williams is still second in the league with 14 touchdowns this season. He has scored in eight of his 15 games this year. His longest stretch without a touchdown was two games before this current drought. Williams did find the end zone the last time he faced the Bears in Week 10.

Chicago is allowing 3.3 touchdowns per game this season and is tied with Detroit for the most in the league. The Bears rank last by giving up an average of 1.8 rushing touchdowns per contest. Only four times this year has a running back failed to cross the goal line against them. Last week, both Devin Singletary and James Cook found pay dirt against the Bears. 

This line is as high as -185 WynnBet. On DraftKings, he’s -160 to score while dropping to -140 on BetMGM and -130 on FanDuel. Caesars offers the best line for Williams to end his scoreless streak.

Justin Jefferson Anytime TD (+100) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Jefferson has snagged nine touchdown passes this season. However, he’s secured a six-point reception in four of his last five outings. What’s more, six of his last eight contests have yielded a touchdown. He has four career touchdowns against the Green Bay Packers, including two in his Week 1 matchup.

Green Bay has allowed 2.5 touchdowns per game so far this season. They have surrendered an average of 1.3 six-point plays through the air. In total, they have given up 11 receiving touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns to opposing wide receivers.

Christian McCaffrey SF First TD (+250) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

McCaffrey has reached the end zone in four straight games. Five of his seven rushing touchdowns and three of his four receiving scores this season have occurred since he joined the 49ers. He is dominating overall touches in the 49ers backfield and is a constant red-zone threat. McCaffrey has five rushing touchdowns and three receiving scores inside the 20-yard line.  

The Las Vegas Raiders are giving up 2.7 touchdowns per game this season overall. They are surrendering an average of one on the ground and 1.5 through the air. An opposing running back has found the end zone against the Raiders in six of their last eight games.
