Panthers quarterback Bryce Young looked genuinely great in Week 1 against the Bears, throwing for 361 yards. The only game in which he's been more productive in his career was when he passed for 448 yards last year versus the Falcons.
After giving up 59 points, Carolina's defense will play significantly better this week against an offense led by either Tua Tagovailoa or Cooper Rush. That Falcons passing game was horrendous versus the Steelers, and I wouldn't expect it to be much better here.
The Panthers are also one of my featured NFL moneyline picks for Week 2, but I love backing them to cover a 2.5-point spread at anything under -120.

Bijan Robinson may just be the best player in football, but his exploits alone aren't enough to carry this club.
The Falcons superstar running back tallied 173 scrimmage yards in the Week 1 loss to Pittsburgh, accounting for nearly 73% of Atlanta's offensive output. I have no faith in his team's stagnant passing attack, which is why the Panthers will pick up the road win in Week 2.
