Eagles vs. Cardinals Odds

Eagles vs. Cardinals Odds Analysis

The Eagles opened as four-point favorites over the Cardinals and have moved to -5 at DraftKings and -5.5 at FanDuel. 55% of the public money has been wagered on Philadelphia.

The total has remained at the opening mark of 48.5 at DraftKings and FanDuel. 67% of the money has been bet on the Under.

Eagles vs. Cardinals Picks

  • Spread: Eagles -5 (-115 via DraftKings) ★★★★
  • Over/Under: Over 48.5 (-110 via DraftKings) ★★★
  • Prop: DeVonta Smith Over 53.5 receiving yards (-115 via DraftKings) ★★★★

Eagles vs. Cardinals ATS Pick

Eagles -5 (-115) ★★★★

The Eagles have won each of their first four games this season, with only one close contest among them. That puts Philadelphia at 3-1 against the spread this season, while Arizona is 2-2 ATS. The match-up against a Cardinals defense allowing over 340 yards per game should favor an Eagles attack that's impeccably balanced.

Hurts beats teams with his legs and his arm, but the running game has also contributed. Philadelphia running back Miles Sanders' resurgence has been a revelation for an Eagles offense averaging 165.3 rushing yards per game.

The Cardinals' run defense ranks in the top 10, allowing just 87 rushing yards per game. Facing opposing QBs Baker Mayfield, Matt Stafford and Derek Carr the last three weeks, though, they haven’t contended with a dual-threat like Hurts. Philadelphia's O-line consistency and balance should leave Arizona’s D scrambling like it did in a Week 1 home loss to the Chiefs.

Eagles vs. Cardinals O/U Pick

Over 48.5 (-110) ★★★

The Eagles should carry the day toward this total, as Philadelphia hasn't had a game this season where it scored fewer than 24 points. The Eagles average 28.8 points per game, the NFL's fourth. They shouldn't have trouble moving the ball against a Cardinals D-line that allows more than 25 PPG. The Cardinals rank 14th, with an offensive 22.0 PPG, putting the teams’ combined averages just above 50.

Hurts used to be the garbage-time king, but Murray has been adept this season at the art of late-game charges, memorably battling back to beat the Vegas Raiders when he had no business doing so.

Though the Eagles should have the edge in building a lead, Murray adding meaningless points near the game's end could help the Over.

Eagles vs. Cardinals Prop Pick

Smith Over 53.5 receiving yards (-115) ★★★★

Philadelphia wide receiver DeVonta Smith had two dud games and two explosive games this season. The first dud happened when he went without a reception in Week 1. It was inexplicable, but Smith quickly addressed it over the next two weeks, going for 80 and 169 yards in those respective matchups.

Last week, Smith was held to 17 yards but played the game in sloppy weather from Hurricane Ian's remnants. Hurts threw for just 204 yards and Smith slipped through the cracks in a tricky passing environment. Smith should find his stride once again playing under Arizona's dome.

The Cardinals’ defense allows 255.8 passing yards per game, 23rd-most in 2022. Smith should be successful as Hurts’ No. 2 option against a leaky Arizona secondary. FanDuel offers the prop at 55.5 yards, so playing the prop at DraftKings is a better value.
