My Chiefs vs. Broncos same-game parlay for Week 8 sees this AFC West clash play out with Patrick Mahomes dialing up his rushing profile again in this matchup.

It could be another revitalization of Evan Engram’s receiving production, too. But I’m drawing the line at J.K. Dobbins, whose time as a centerpiece in Denver could be winding down. The Chiefs are a 1.5-point betting favorite Sunday, with kickoff from Empower Field at Mile High in Denver set for 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS).

Chiefs vs. Broncos parlay picks

Patrick Mahomes Over 13.5 rushing yards (-115 via DraftKings)

Whether it was a case of Patrick Mahomes just wanting to show off that his surgically-repaired knee was good to go, the Chiefs’ opener did result in Mahomes logging a season-high seven rushing attempts, totaling 23 yards on the ground.

That game, of course, was against this same Denver defense. The Broncos allow the NFL’s sixth-most rushing yards per game to opposing quarterbacks. Mahomes has cleared this rushing line in four out of six games this season.

Evan Engram Over 2.5 receptions (+125 via DraftKings)

Evan Engram hasn’t been a consistent game-to-game receiving threat for the Broncos this season, but he’s in a matchup that could spark another uptick to his involvement.

The Chiefs have allowed the NFL’s third-most receptions per game to tight ends, with the position averaging over seven catches per contest against Kansas City. Engram faced the Chiefs in Week 1 and his season debut was a good one, with the veteran tight end posting four receptions for 43 yards.

J.K. Dobbins Under 22.5 rushing yards (-114 via DraftKings)

Though his conversations with reporters don’t seem to suggest he acknowledges it, Dobbins’ window for impact in the Denver backfield might be closing. Rookie Jonah Coleman returned from IR last week, posting a productive 54 yards on nine carries.

Dobbins saw a season-low six carries, mustering just 23 yards. I see him posting even less than that this week while facing a Chiefs defense that has allowed the NFL’s fourth-fewest rushing yards per game to the running back position.
