Karl-Anthony Towns is back for the Minnesota Timberwolves, and his odds aren't correctly priced. Kevin Durant's return will steal the spotlight in the Timberwolves-Phoenix Suns matchup, but we're keeping an eye on Towns.

Player Prop: Karl-Anthony Towns Over 18.5 points vs. Suns (-106 via BetRivers) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

You check the odds board early in the morning for moments like this. Towns is already making waves in the betting market at 5:30 a.m. on the east coast. After opening at 17.5 points, Towns moved to 18.5 points overnight. The line movement suggests betting the Over on Towns, and the projections are in agreement with that.

In his upcoming game against the Suns, Towns is projected to score 20.8 points, which is significantly more than his total of 18.5 points. With this projection, we can price the Over on his total of 18.5 points at -155, yet we can purchase it at -106 at BetRivers.

Your BetRivers account should look pretty healthy if you tailed the NBA best bets on Tuesday, and you have the chance to build it up even more. Once again, BetRivers' pricing is rogue. Towns is available at Over 18.5 points -106 only at BetRivers. DraftKings has Towns at -125 and Caesars has him at -119.

Player Prop: DeMar DeRozan Over 22.5 points vs. Lakers (-113 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

There's no way this prop will remain at 22.5 points throughout the day, it has 23.5 points written all over it. There will be increased juice on the Over if it stays at 22.5 points, unlike the -113 available at FanDuel this morning.

We can price the Over 22.5 points at -150 since Demar DeRozan is projected to score 25.1 points against the Los Angeles Lakers. When a projection on a star player is 2.5 points higher than the total, in a matchup between the Chicago Bulls and Lakers, you can see why the total is likely to move.

DeRozan just played against the Lakers on Sunday and only scored 17 points. Just putting that out there for the trends crowd when he goes over 22.5 points against the Lakers on Wednesday. It doesn't matter what the trend is, the price is awesome.

NBA game picks

Spread: Knicks -4 vs. Heat (-110 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Do we intend to fade the Miami Heat one more time on Wednesday? Certainly. We played the Toronto Raptors -2.5 against the Heat on Tuesday and earned a green checkmark. On Wednesday, we hope to earn another green checkmark at the expense of the Heat.

Although the New York Knicks are trading as four-point favorites against the Heat, the projections have the Knicks winning by 6.5 points. Therefore, we can price the spread of Knicks -4 at -151, while DraftKings is offering it at -110.

It's possible that this line may fluctuate if the injury status changes significantly for the Heat's Jimmy Butler and Knicks' Jalen Brunson, but I'm confident locking in this spread at Knicks -4. Based on our projections, this spread has a positive expected value of 15%.
