After splitting the first two meetings, the Brooklyn Nets travel to Indiana for the rubber match with the Pacers on Friday. Here are our Nets-Pacers NBA picks

The Nets head to Indianapolis for a showdown with the Pacers after winning three of their last four games. Indiana’s six-game winning streak was snapped with a home loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday, while the Nets are fresh off a win over the Toronto Raptors.

The Pacers are home for the fourth straight game, and Brooklyn will be on the road for the seventh time in eight contests.

Here are our Nets-Pacers picks for their NBA matchup on Friday (odds via DraftKings and FanDuel sportsbooks; Pick confidence is based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Nets vs. Pacers Odds

Nets vs. Pacers Odds Analysis

The Nets are slight road favorites in Indiana, and the line has moved down half a point after opening at -3. The betting public loves Brooklyn to cover in this one, with the Nets drawing 75% of tickets and 96% of the cash.

The total has decreased three points since opening at 235.5. Bettors are counting on a low-scoring affair, with 83% of tickets and 94% of cash on the Under.

Nets vs. Pacers ATS Pick

Pacers +2.5 (-105) ★★★★★

Both teams are among the top five in points allowed in the paint per game. Each squad is also one of the five worst teams in 3-point percentage allowed.

That’s great news for the Pacers, who rank third in the Association in 3-pointers per game. But Brooklyn (18th in 3-pointers) faces a significant disadvantage.

The Pacers have covered in 10 of their last 12 contests, and each of their last two games when they were home underdogs. The Nets are just 5-6 as the favorite and 2-2 as the road favorite.

Indiana can win this game with a barrage of 3-pointers and take advantage of Brooklyn’s weak perimeter defense. DraftKings is the only sportsbook offering this spread at odds longer than -110.

Nets vs. Pacers O/U Pick

Under 234.5 (-110) ★★★★

Take the Under here, despite the Pacers' high-scoring offense. Indiana is just 8-8-1 overall, 3-3 following a loss, and 2-3 as the home underdog. The Nets are 8-11 overall and 2-2 as the road favorite. While Brooklyn’s perimeter defense has been suspect, the Nets surrender the fifth-fewest points per game to opposing centers, and that means they can limit Myles Turner.

Brooklyn and Indiana have met twice in 2022-23, and the Nets won the second game while limiting Turner to just seven points and five boards. If Brooklyn can contain Turner and Indiana’s interior defense does the same with Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, and Nic Claxton, this could turn into a lower-scoring game.

Nets vs. Pacers Prop Pick

Ben Simmons Over 25.5 points + assists + rebounds (-110) ★★★★

Simmons has been on a roll recently, so I'm going back to the well. I highlighted the same prop on Wednesday, and Simmons crushed it at 22.5.

The total has moved up three points to 25.5 after his recent strong play, but don't let that worry you. Simmons is logging 32.8 minutes per game over his last four contests (three starts) while posting a combined 30.3 points, rebounds, and assists in those outings. Simmons produced 26 points, rebounds, and assists during his lone matchup against the Pacers in 2022-23. Bank on him cruising past this number once again.
