Cavaliers vs. Magic prop bet predictions for Thursday

Paolo Banchero Over 23.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This series has been a defensive grudge match through the first two games with both teams having yet to cross the 100-point mark, and the average combined score has been just 181 per game. The Magic's offense has been particularly dreadful, resembling something closer to the Virginia Cavaliers than an NBA team.

Still, Banchero has been effective, averaging 22.5 points and crossing 23.5 in Game 1. For as great as Cleveland's defense is, it gave up 23.16 points to power forwards in the regular season, and with Banchero's usage, he should be capable of hitting 24 in Game 3. He's averaging over 40 minutes and 18.5 field-goal attempts in the series.

Jarrett Allen Over 12.5 rebounds ⭐⭐⭐

No player has taken advantage of the constant missed shots in this series more than Jarrett Allen. With shots being missed as frequently as Deshaun Watson throws lame ducks, Allen has averaged a ridiculous number of rebounds in the series (19.0) with at least 18 in both games.

The Cavs big man was 10th in the NBA in rebounds per game in the regular season (10.5) and has owned the glass against an Orlando team that was just 25th in the NBA in rebounds per game this year (42.3).

With Allen averaging over 36.5 minutes per game in the series and the Magic giving up 13.54 rebounds per game to centers, he should have a field day on the glass. With these odds as short as -103, there's a 50.74% probability he hits the Over with our odds bringing in a $9.71 profit on a $10 bet.

Best odds: +102 via FanDuel

Jalen Suggs Under 12.5 points ⭐⭐⭐

Coming out of high school, Jalen Suggs was a four-star football recruit, and maybe he picked the wrong sport, because he certainly looks like he doesn't know how to play basketball through the first two games of this series.

Suggs has been abysmal, averaging 11 points and going 6-for-21 (28.5%) from the floor, including 1-for-10 from three. Already not known as much of a scorer (12.6 PPG), Suggs has been locked up by the Cavs' sixth-rated defense, and it should continue into Game 3.

Cleveland has been monstrous against shooting guards all season, holding them to the second-fewest points per game in the NBA (20.0), and that's why the +102 odds at DraftKings are a great value. The -118 odds on this prop at our other best sportsbooks imply a 54.13% probability it hits. At our odds though, a $10 bet pays out $20.20.
