Bulls vs. Jazz Odds Analysis
The Jazz opened as two-point home favorites. The line has shifted to Jazz -1.5 at BetMGM (-115) and FanDuel (-110). Utah is down to -1 at DraftKings (-110) as 85% of the spread wagers have been placed on Chicago.
The total opened at a whopping 235 and has climbed to 235.5 (-110) at DraftKings and BetMGM. It’s up to 236 (-108) at FanDuel.
Bulls vs. Jazz Picks
- Moneyline: Jazz (-124 via FanDuel) ★★★★
- Over/Under: Over 235.5 (-110 via DraftKings, BetMGM) ★★★
- Prop: Jordan Clarkson Over 21.5 Points (-115 via FanDuel) ★★★★
Bulls vs. Jazz ML Pick
Jazz (-124) ★★★★
The Jazz have lost four in a row and seven of their last nine as Mike Conley’s absence seems to be taking a toll. With 85% of the public money acknowledging the recently poor trends for Utah by siding with the Bulls in this match-up, though, I view this as a spot to fade the public.
Chicago also comes into this game having played sluggishly in its recent stretch, losing seven of its last 10. The Jazz are 6-2 outright at home this season (5-3 ATS) and has a top-10 offensive efficiency that can challenge a capable Bulls defensive group. Chicago is 4-4-1 ATS in road games, but 3-6 outright as an away team.
Utah is -1.5 across the board, but DraftKings offers the best odds at -110. The home-road trends for both sides suggest the moneyline as the preferred option in a projected close game. The most affordable moneyline option resides at FanDuel with -124 odds.
Bulls vs. Jazz O/U Pick
Over 235.5 (-110) ★★★
Utah hasn’t had an especially effective defense all season, ranking 24th in the NBA in the defensive efficiency metric. But the Jazz have faltered defensively with particular aggression of late, allowing 122.3 points per game across their last six contests.
Chicago sits in the middle of the pack in offensive efficiency, but has scored 118 or better in each of its last three games and should be able to take advantage of Utah’s lackluster defensive play. No team involved in a Jazz game has scored fewer than 111 points in more than two weeks. Though the Bulls are 8-11 on Overs this season, Bulls road games have gone Over six out of nine times, the third-highest away game Over rate in the NBA.
FanDuel is the most attractive line to bet the Under, with the number at 236. Go with DraftKings or BetMGM when betting the Over, as you’ll see -110 odds on the 235.5-point total at both locations.
Bulls vs. Jazz Prop Pick
Clarkson Over 21.5 points (-115) ★★★★
Jordan Clarkson has taken on a more prominent scoring role in the Utah offense during Mike Conley’s absence. After failing to elevate beyond 20 points in four straight games, Clarkson has since gone for 21+ points in five consecutive contests, clearing Monday’s line for his scoring in four of the five.
In a game with the second-highest projected total of the day across the NBA, Clarkson has been seeing consistent usage that should allow for his contributions to that total to be substantial on Monday night. Clarkson’s point total sits at 21.5 across the board, but FanDuel offers the most favorable odds on the Over at -115 compared to -120 at DraftKings and BetMGM.
