The rolling hills of the Sonoma Valley welcome drivers this week for the Toyota/Save Mart 350. Will Kyle Larson sip from the winner's goblet again? Here are our Toyota/Save Mart 350 picks.

The Cup Series makes its yearly trip to Sonoma, CA, for the second road race of the season. Last season, Larson took home first place in convincing fashion with his Hendrick teammate nipping at his bumper.

Ross Chastain notched a surprising win in the only other road course this season when he won in Austin. He will have to contend with some seasoned veterans on this track if he wants to cross the finish line first again this week.

Here are my outright picks for NASCAR’s Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, CA (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook and BetMGM).

Toyota/Save Mart 350 Odds Analysis

As he is at every road track, Chase Elliott is the favorite across all the books. There is a 100-point difference on BetMGM (+450) than on DraftKings or FanDuel Sportsbook (+550).

That deviation holds true down the line with BetMGM offering slightly lower odds than the other two books. Larson is the exception with his odds higher with BetMGM (+700) than at the other two books (+650).

Who Will Win the Toyota/Save Mart 350?

Elliott (+550)

Elliott has seven road course victories in his seven years as a Cup driver. He sits as the third-best road racer in NASCAR history. Over the span of the 2018 and 2019 seasons, the No. 9 car took home four checkered flags in a row from road tracks.

Sonoma is one of the few courses on which he's yet to win. His average finish in his five career starts in wine country is just over 14th place. Last season, though, he managed to lead the second-most laps of the race before finishing second to Larson.

He’s posted three disappointing finishes in a row, but this is the perfect setting for a rebound.

Larson (+700)

Larson has recorded five top-three finishes in his last seven road course races, including three wins. He dominated this race last year, leading 53 of 92 laps for the win. He’s started on the pole in each of his last four races, too.

He suffered a rough outing in Austin earlier this season, finishing in 29th place. Larson has also struggled to find the same success he enjoyed last season. He’ll be close to his home this week and ready to turn his season around in front of family and friends.

Logano (+1800)

Logano doesn't have the storied past on road tracks as some of the favorites. But what he does have is two wins in the last four races. The No. 22 won at Darlington and again last week in Illinois. Technically, he has three total checkered flags from 2022 if you count his victory in the Busch Light Clash exhibition.

He drove his Mustang to a fourth-place finish in last year’s race and even managed to lead five laps in the process. Overall, he does have five top-10 finishes in 12 career starts here, with three of those inside the top five.

Fords have not been the class of the field much this season, but Logano has been a bright spot for the team.
