Best CFL bet this week
Roughriders vs. Lions prediction: Lions -6.5 (-110)
The defending champion Roughriders have the longest Grey Cup odds at +1300, while the Lions have the third-shortest at +370. Despite that, I still believe the Lions are being underrated by the market.
The Lions rank second in the CFL with 418.4 yards per game, just behind the Alouettes, the Grey Cup favorite, and that was with last season's Most Outstanding Player, Nathan Rourke, missing multiple weeks. Since Rourke returned from injury in Week 10, excluding the final game of the season when he rested, the Lions have gone 8-2 straight up, with a +7 average scoring margin.

Blue Bombers vs. Argonauts prediction: Argonauts -3.5 (-114)
Zach Collaros' status is still unknown as of publication, as he's dealing with a rib injury. However, my read on this game is based on Collaros being doubtful to play, as he practiced for the first time this week Thursday and was limited.
The Argonauts were a 2-point road favorite against Dru Brown in Week 6 and a 1-point road underdog against Brown in Week 17. Using the Week 17 line as my starting point and then accounting for home-field advantage, I expect the Argonauts to close as a 5.5-point favorite if Collaros is ruled out, which is why I like -3.5 (-114).
However, there's no guarantee that Collaros will be ruled out, so I'm risking fewer units on this bet than on Lions -6.5 (-110).
