Lakers vs. Warriors Prediction: NBA Picks & Odds (Oct. 30)
Last Updated: October 30, 2026 11:38 AM EDT • 3 minute read Google News Link
My Lakers vs. Warriors prediction targets two of the top offenses in the Association led by all-time point guards. An off shooting night from Golden State prevented the Warriors from being more competitive in their season-opening loss to the Lakers earlier this month. I wouldn't expect a repeat of that on Friday in this NBA Cup matchup.
The action tips off tonight at 10 p.m. ET from Chase Center in San Francisco (Prime Video). The Lakers are priced as a 2.5- to 3.5-point road betting favorite. My NBA picks focus on the 233.5-point total, along with my favorite player prop for each team.

Lakers vs. Warriors best bet
Over 233.5 (-105 via FanDuel)
This matchup features two of the league's most productive offenses so far this season: The Lakers rank second in offensive efficiency, while the Warriors rank fifth. As a result, it isn't surprising that both of these squads have a positive Over/Under record so far in 2026
The season-opening win by the Lakers over the Warriors featured 232 combined points, but that was an uncharacteristically off night for Golden State from deep. The Warriors won't shoot 22% from long range again versus a Los Angeles team that ranks 21st in 3-point shooting percentage allowed.
I anticipate a high-scoring battle in the Bay Area on Friday between Luka Doncic- and Steph Curry-led attacks. I bet Over 233.5 at FanDuel's market-best -105 odds.
Play to: 235.5 at plus-money odds.
Score prediction: Warriors 119, Lakers 117
Lakers vs. Warriors player props
Yaxel Lendeborg Over 29.5 points + rebounds + assists (-115 via bet365)
Warriors rookie wing Yaxel Lendeborg's overly honest quotes to the media have been a fun subplot of the early 2026-27 season, but so has his actual play on the court. He's averaging an incredible 35.8 points + rebounds + assists through five games.
Throw out the season opener against the Lakers, his first career NBA game, and Lendeborg has hit the combo prop total in every game since.
I'm backing the former Michigan standout to have a huge impact once again. While some of the other best sports betting sites have this lined as high as 31.5, bet365 offers a 29.5 total.
Play to: 30.5 PRA (-105), pass at 32.5.
Walker Kessler Over 14.5 points (-105 via DraftKings)
Walker Kessler scored 26 points versus Golden State in the season opener. He's unlikely to have another perfect shooting night (12-for-12 in the opener), but the Warriors are tied for sixth-worst in opponent points in the paint per game. Given that clear advantage, he has to be a big part of the Lakers' offensive strategy on Friday.
Additionally, Luka Doncic is expected to play tonight after missing the previous Lakers game, which is significant for Kessler's scoring ceiling as a pick-and-roll outlet for Los Angeles' superstar point guard.
I bet the Over on Kessler's scoring prop at DraftKings, where -105 odds are offered on a 14.5 total.
Play to: 15.5 points (-105), pass at 16.
