The Chicago White Sox look to make a race of the AL Central, but can they slow down the Cleveland Guardians long enough to do it? Here are our Guardians-White Sox same-game parlay picks for Tuesday.

Despite Chicago winning seven of its last 10, the White Sox have lost ground on the Guardians, who have won eight games in that same span. Cleveland opens play Tuesday with a four-game division lead over the South Siders.

Here are my same-game parlay picks for Tuesday’s matchup between the Guardians and White Sox (odds via FanDuel Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Guardians vs. White Sox Same Game Parlay Picks

Guardians vs. White Sox Same Game Parlay Predictions

White Sox (-178) ★★★★

The White Sox and Guardians have both been red-hot recently. The season-long trends suggest that should continue for Cleveland on Tuesday given Chicago’s poor home record and the Guardians’ 40-35 mark on the road.

With a 35-37 outright home record, the White Sox have rarely come through to meet expectations for bettors. Chicago seems to have turned a corner under its interim manager, though, and the team has been great all along behind Tuesday’s starter Dylan Cease. The White Sox are 10-6 in Cease’s home starts this season.

DraftKings offers the White Sox moneyline at -165 compared to -178 at FanDuel.

Jimenez to record an RBI (+110) ★★★★

White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez has been swinging a hot bat over the past couple of weeks, posting a 1.253 OPS with five home runs and four doubles over the last 15 days. My typical preference has been to play hitters to achieve two-plus total bases for these parlays, but I’m riding Jimenez for an RBI in this instance considering a solid odds advantage compared to the total-bases prop.

The White Sox have been putting Jimenez in good positions to cash in of late, as his 16 RBIs lead all MLB batters over the past 15 days. The matchup against Aaron Civale is a favorable one, as Jimenez has gone 5-for-11 lifetime with two home runs against Tuesday’s starter for Cleveland.

DraftKings offers Jimenez at -105 on this prop compared to a friendly +110 at FanDuel, likely tilting the parlay in their direction.

Cease Over 5.5 strikeouts (-126) ★★★★

While fully acknowledging that this prop could be a total trap, we’re still riding with Dylan Cease and his strikeout total hitting the Over on Tuesday night.

First, the obvious stuff is in his favor. Cease is one of the most prolific strikeouts pitchers in the league this season, ranking fourth among all qualified MLB starters with 11.53 K/9. Over his last four games, he’s compiled strikeout totals of eight, nine, seven, and eight. He’s cleared this line in 20 of his 29 starts this season.

Where it gets a bit dicey is in the matchup. The Guardians strike out less than any team in baseball this season, averaging 6.86 Ks per game. Cleveland is the only team in MLB averaging fewer than 7.00 Ks per game. Cease has faced the Guardians three times this season and has cleared the 5.5 Ks benchmark in one of the three outings.

FanDuel beat DraftKings on the odds for this final leg, -136 to -140, swinging the combined odds heavily in favor of the former: +404 to +300.

Combined Odds: White Sox (-178) + Jimenez to record an RBI (+110) + Cease Over 5.5 strikeouts (-126) = +404
