In a 31-26 win over North Dakota State, Sanders set the tone for what should be an impressive final collegiate season.

Sanders finished 26-for-34 for 445 passing yards, throwing four touchdowns and one interception. Colorado’s offensive line remains an issue, but he made the most of the time he had to throw the ball.

Shedeur Sanders Under 0.5 interceptions (+114) ⭐⭐⭐

Sanders threw an interception against North Dakota State, and he’s trading at -155 to do so again this weekend. But that has provided value on the Under at a plus-money price.

In truth, Sanders does an excellent job of taking care of the ball. He only threw three interceptions last year. According to Pro Football Focus, Sanders had a turnover-worthy rate of 1.6% last year.

What makes Sanders’ numbers from Week 1 especially impressive is that it was supposed to be a slower game. On the other hand, Saturday’s tilt with Nebraska will be a track meet.

The Cornhuskers want to make big plays and score quickly, giving Colorado more offensive snaps this weekend. Sanders completed 26 passes last week, so he should have no problem completing 25-plus passes in a game that could feature more passing opportunities.

Sanders went 31-for-42 in last year’s 36-14 win over Nebraska. I wouldn’t be surprised by a similar stat line on Saturday.
