There will be plenty of star power when the Nebraska Cornhuskers host the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday night, with the latter a dark horse in the Big 12 championship odds.

Colorado’s lineup includes Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter, and Jimmy Horn Jr., while Nebraska has its own version of Patrick Mahomes in true freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola. As such, our best sportsbooks expect plenty of betting interest for this matchup.

As part of our college football predictions for Week 2 and to accompany our Colorado vs. Nebraska prediction, our Colorado vs. Nebraska player props expect the top players in this game to put on a show.

Dylan Raiola Under 9.5 rushing yards (-179 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I don’t like starting with a prop featuring this much juice, but Raiola isn’t a rushing threat. He finished with -6 yards on one attempt (a sack) in his collegiate debut last weekend against UTEP.

Bettors understand this more than the best sports betting sites, because Caesars opened this line at 11.5 before it was bet down to 9.5 within one hour. The juice on Under 9.5 rushing yards has gone from -148 to -179.

If you aren’t comfortable with this much vig, a $10 bet on a same-game parlay involving this Under and the Nebraska moneyline would net a $14.90 profit.

But even with a modest projection of three yards, I see solid value on this Under. Just one sack (or perhaps some kneel-downs) could help get this ticket to the window.

Isaiah Neyor longest reception Over 23.5 yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Isaiah Neyor transferred from Texas and was Nebraska’s top receiver in Week 1. He caught six passes on eight targets for 121 yards and one touchdown.

Bettors might be interested in his receiving yards prop of 51.5 as a result. However, I prefer needing one catch with his longest reception, as Nebraska’s offense is built to take shots downfield. Similar to Mahomes, Raiola puts out an impressive deep ball.

Neyor caught a 59-yard pass against UTEP. This line is too low against a shaky Colorado defense.

Travis Hunter anytime touchdown (+100) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Colorado receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter was a huge Heisman odds riser after Week 1. He recorded three touchdowns and 132 yards on seven receptions, all while playing 57 offensive snaps and 72 defensive plays.

If you want action on this game, betting Hunter to score a touchdown might be the best angle. DraftKings offers an outlier price with a +100 value. Some of our other best sports betting apps charge as much as -130.

Shane Jackson also thinks Hunter's quarterback is primed for a productive day in his Shedeur Sanders player props.
