Uiagalelei has now played games for three different teams, and he’s looked the same everywhere he goes. While with Oregon State, he threw for more than 223 yards just five times. In 2022, he threw for more than 223 just three times with Clemson.
After finishing his first game of 2024 with 193 passing yards, it’s hard to trust him against anyone. And the Eagles had a solid pass defense last season.
The price is expensive, as DraftKings isn’t offering an option for the under, and FanDuel has the total set at 214.5. I may not believe in Uiagalelei, but I’m taking the higher number for the worse price for security - a $10 bet pays an $8.13 profit.

Last season, Uiagalelei threw more than 1.5 touchdown passes in half of his games. Four of those six performances saw him end with two touchdown passes, so his ceiling for this game isn’t very high.
While this could go either way, the main reason to take the under is the price. I can’t justify taking the over for a price of -137 or worse when this is essentially a coin flip.
He hasn’t thrown a touchdown this season, and the price is a good value with a $10 bet paying a $12 profit.

DJ Uiagalelei Over 14.5 rushing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐
Uiagalelei ran less last year than in any of his two full seasons with Clemson. Last season, he managed just 219 rushing yards, one year after rushing for 545 with the Tigers.
Nothing went right for the Seminoles’ offense in the first game, and Uiagalelei finished with just seven yards on six carries. But the one bright spot is that he was only sacked once. For the most part, the Seminoles’ offensive line held up. Considering quarterbacks lose rushing yards every time they’re sacked in college, this is a huge positive for Uiagalelei.
Last year, Uiagalelei ran for more than 14 yards five times despite having a down year running the ball. Look for him to run more and hit this low number. If he does, a $10 bet pays an $8.77 profit.
