Baylor vs. Oklahoma Picks

B T1102.1

Baylor vs. Oklahoma ATS Pick

Oklahoma -3.5 (-102) ★★

Oddsmakers are begging us to take the Bears considering they are getting the hook with the current line. The Sooners have looked like a totally different team with Dillon Gabriel, but they have also been much more inconsistent than Baylor this season.

Ultimately, this is a very evenly matched game that will likely come down to who has the ball last. However, because this is the Big 12, it won’t be decided by a late field goal but rather by a late touchdown. Therefore, we will take the Sooners to win and cover for the first time in five tries.

Baylor vs. Oklahoma O/U Pick

Over 61.5 (-107) ★★★★

The last four times these teams have met, the total has been in the 60s and gone Under every time. This trend seems to be preventing Oddsmakers from putting this number up near 70, which is where it feels like it belongs.

Both of these teams are averaging over 30 points per game while giving up more than 20. The Bears have given up only 40 total points in their last two games, but with Gabriel back under center, it is clear that the Sooners’ offense is back to what everyone expected it to be at the beginning of the season.

Do not be alarmed by recent trends, and rather look at what these two teams have done on the field this season. They have both scored a lot, and more often than not, they have also given up points. Feel comfortable taking this up to 63 points.

Baylor vs. Oklahoma Prop Pick

Baylor Over 28.5 (-120) ★★★★

The Bears are averaging 38.4 points per game, and they are about to take on a team that has given up 40 or more points in four of their last five games.

In all but two games this season, the Bears have scored at least 30 points. The Sooners’ defense played better last week and held Iowa State to just 13 points. But the Cyclones are averaging just 21.6 points per game.

This is going to be a shootout, and the Bears are going to score over 30 just like they have done all season.
