CFL picks & best bets today

Every day of the CFL season, the Sportsbook Review team brings you our top football bets and predictions for that night’s games. We break down key CFL betting markets like moneylines, spreads, totals, and player props - including picks for passing yards, rushing yards, receptions, interceptions, and field goals.

Our picks widget above highlights value-driven CFL bets each day using live CFL odds from top legal sportsbooks. Whether it’s a marquee matchup in Toronto or a late-night tilt in British Columbia, you’ll find smart bets on the teams and players you care about most.

At SBR, we provide expert daily forecasts on point spreads, Over/Unders, moneylines, and CFL player props. We also offer parlays and same-game parlays (SGPs), combining our best plays with long shots to maximize your betting ticket. We always look for value - whether that’s backing a quarterback in a pass-heavy offense, fading a tired team on a road trip, or leaning on a strong special-teams unit.

We use advanced stats and matchup data to support every pick, such as red-zone efficiency, yards per play, drive tempo, third-down conversion rates, and QB efficiency. Our analysts monitor injury reports, playing-surface conditions, and travel schedules to help you make smarter CFL bets.

Free CFL moneyline picks

A moneyline bet in CFL betting is simple - just pick the team you think will win. No need to worry about the spread.

Example:

TeamMoneyline Odds
Winnipeg Blue Bombers-140
Ottawa Redblacks+120
  • Bet $140 on Winnipeg (–140) → Win $100 (total payout: $240)
  • Bet $100 on Ottawa (+120) → Win $120 (total payout: $220)

Free CFL Over/Under picks

Totals betting in the CFL centers on total points scored by both teams - not which one wins.

  • Typical line: Over/Under 52.5
  • Bet the Over if you expect an offensive showcase
  • Bet the Under if you forecast a defensive slog
  • Odds are usually around -110 on each side

Example:

If the line for Saskatchewan vs. B.C. is set at 52.5 points:

  • A final score of 30-25 (total 55) results in an Over win
  • A final score of 24-20 (total 44) gives the Under the win

Commonly, a .5 hook is used to prevent a push. Alternate totals and team-specific totals are available for fine-tuned bets at longer or shorter odds.

Free CFL spread picks

Spread betting in the CFL lets you bet on the margin of victory. The favorite must exceed the spread, while the underdog can cover by losing within it.

Example:

MatchupSpreadOdds
Calgary Stampeders-4.5-10
Edmonton Elks+4.5-110
  • A bet on Calgary -4.5 wins if they win by 5 or more
  • A bet on Edmonton +4.5 wins if they lose by 4 or fewer, or win outright

Spreads shift based on injuries, travel wear, or public betting splits.

Free CFL player prop picks

CFL player props let you wager on individual performance - such as passing yards, rushing yards, completed passes, interceptions, or field goals made.

Example props:

  • Bo Levi Mitchell Over 265.5 passing yards (-110)
  • James Butler Over 68.5 rushing yards (+100)
  • Kenny Lawler to score a touchdown (-135)

These bets are perfect for backing star players or exploiting mismatches. Use metrics like yards per attempt, usage rate, opponent defensive rank, or red zone frequency to find value.

Alternate lines, such as Mitchell Over 300.5 passing yards, offer higher payouts for stronger confidence plays. Pair shorter odds props with others in parlays or SGPs to boost your overall payout while keeping each leg strong.

How we make our CFL picks & predictions

Our CFL picks focus on one thing - securing the best line. Odds move fast during preseason and regular season, so line shopping is crucial. Don’t settle for –120 on a spread when you can get -105 elsewhere for the same matchup.

We dig deeper than box score stats, using advanced analytics like yards per play, red-zone efficiency, turnover margins, QB rating under pressure, and drive tempo. Our prop selections come from trends in snap counts, matchups, and game scripts.

Favorites don’t always run away with it, and underdogs in the CFL can spring big value - especially in toss-up games or stiff air in western stadiums. Our advice: stay data-driven, shop the best number, and let the analytics guide your plays.

Why trust our CFL experts?

Sportsbook Review has been delivering expert betting insights for over 20 years. We live on the gridiron and bring you CFL picks that we genuinely trust.

Each selection comes with a 1-to-5-star confidence rating based on the matchup, line size, and odds value at our best sports betting sites. You won’t see inflated 5-star labels on deep props - we stay realistic - but we’ll spotlight high-upside value when it makes sense.

From training camp through the Grey Cup, we’re locked in on data, trends, and betting angles that matter.

If you're betting on the CFL, you want a team that knows the game and backs picks with proven research. Sportsbook Review’s football analysts are up to the task - driven by stats, experience, and a history of success.
