It was a huge weekend for our best sports betting sites.

The second Las Vegas Grand Prix concluded this weekend with Red Bull’s Max Verstappen winning his fourth world championship title. Casino operator MGM Resorts International is reflecting on the event. In a press release, the company celebrated its role as the “ultimate race weekend destination,” bringing unparalleled entertainment and fan experiences to its iconic Las Vegas Strip properties.

MGM Resorts delivered an unforgettable weekend for racing fans and celebrities alike. Top F1 drivers like Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton, Carlos Sainz, and George Russell even joined in on the excitement.

"This weekend was more than just an event—it was a collection of unforgettable 'wow' moments for our guests, solidifying its place as one of the most remarkable weekends of the year for our resorts and our city," commented Andrew Lanzino, MGM Resorts' Vice President of Citywide Events Strategy. "Thousands of MGM Resorts employees collaborated to elevate the Las Vegas Grand Prix to unprecedented heights in its second year, delivering results that exceeded all expectations.”

The Bellagio Fountain Club was a sell-out

MGM brought back its Bellagio Fountain Club this year, offering prime views of the track, its longest straightaway, and the iconic Bellagio Fountains. Tickets also provide guests with front-row seats to the Grand Prix Winner’s Stage, where Verstappen, Russell, Hamilton, and Sainz celebrated their wins under a dazzling firework display on Saturday night.

Announcing its return earlier this year, Lanzino commented, "Bellagio Fountain Club's debut at last year's Las Vegas Grand Prix event surpassed all expectations.” He continued, "Following the incredible reception from our guests last year, the team is hard at work crafting plans for an even more exceptional experience when racing's most exciting event returns to Las Vegas."

Despite the $12,500 price tag for a three-day ticket, the event sold out quickly this year. It attracted many celebrity guests, including Seth Rogen, Eva Longoria, Chris Stapleton, Big Boi, and many others.

Endless entertainment options

A fan favorite, the Shoey Bar, returned to the Bellagio this year. Inspired by F1’s famous “shoey” celebration, the bar offered a signature cocktail served in a limited-edition racing shoe designed in collaboration with racing company Sparco. Fans eagerly queued for the $135 beverage, a nod to the F1 tradition started by Australian driver Daniel Ricciardo at the 2016 German Grand Prix.

But the excitement didn’t stop at the Bellagio for MGM Resorts. At its ARIA Resort & Casino, Carlos Sainz’s Smooth Operator Dance Lounge celebrated the driver’s famous nickname with live music, signature cocktails, and even a surprise appearance from the man himself. The Ferrari driver delighted fans by joining the party on Wednesday night, grooving to the Sade hit alongside a live saxophonist.

Team Mercedes fans would not have wanted to miss the 24/7 pop-up in the ARIA lobby, which featured Grand Prix simulators, exclusive Mercedes merchandise, and much more.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas also held its Boulevard Experience over the weekend. Guests could choose from single-day or three-day passes for a one-of-a-kind rooftop watch party, complete with live DJ sets and all-inclusive snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.
