EA's Madden NFL 23 has made its prediction for Super Bowl 57 between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs – and if this result comes to fruition, those who wagered on the Eagles and the Under will be very happy.

In this teaser video released Monday, former NFL wide receiver Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson is shown the simulated Super Bowl 57 matchup while traveling to Glendale, AZ, for the game:

Football fans and sports bettors don't see much during this 103-second video, but there's still plenty to deconstruct – most notably, that the Eagles pull out a 31-17 victory over the Chiefs to earn their second Super Bowl title in five years.

Here's a breakdown of the most significant Super Bowl odds markets impacted by the information in the video (odds courtesy FanDuel Sportsbook):

Super Bowl 57 odds

BetLine/OddsResult
SpreadEagles -1.5 (-110) | Chiefs +1.5 (-110)Eagles -1.5 (-110)
Total50.5 (-115/-105)U50.5 (-105)
MoneylineEagles ML (-122) | Chiefs ML (+104)Eagles ML (-122)

If your Super Bowl predictions had the Eagles winning the Super Bowl, then you're going to like the result of this sim. Not only does Philadelphia prevail against Kansas City – it does so in convincing fashion, continuing a trend in which it won its first two playoff games over the New York Giants and San Francisco by a combined score of 69-14.

Totals bettors would have endured quite a sweat here, with this game coming less than a field goal away from cashing the Over. I like to imagine that Over bettors would be cursing out whichever kicker missed a field goal earlier in the game (okay, there's no guarantee it happened, but it sure would make this narrative a little spicier.)

Jalen Hurts props

Stat line: 2 TD passes
PropLine/OddsResult
Passing TDs1.5 (-110/-120)O1.5 (-110)

We don't know how the Eagles scored their other two touchdowns (assuming they got to 31 via four converted TDs and a field goal). But we do know that Hurts led the way with touchdown passes to each of his top two receivers. I'd like to think that Hurts added a rushing score; he did, after all, lead QBs with 13 rushing TDs. (A Hurts rushing score in Super Bowl 57 is +100 via FanDuel.)

Patrick Mahomes props

Stat Line: 29-39, 249 pass yards, 1 TD, 1 INT (at least)
PropLine/OddsResult
Pass Completions26.5 (-114/-114)U26.5 (-114)
Passing Yards292.5 (-114/-114)U292.5 (-114)
Passing TDs1.5 (-200/+148)U1.5 (+148)
InterceptionYes (-122), No (-108)Yes (-122)

If the Madden Super Bowl sim results comes to pass, you'll be cashing those Under props no matter which of the notable sports betting sites you use. Mahomes underwhelms significantly in this scenario, failing to reach 250 passing yards with a lone score (I'm guessing to tight end Travis Kelce, though I really have no idea.) Better luck next year.

HOUSTON, TEXAS - NOVEMBER 03: A.J. Brown #11 of the Philadelphia Eagles celebrates a touchdown against the Houston Texans in the third quarter at NRG Stadium on November 03, 2022 in Houston, Texas. Carmen Mandato/Getty Images/AFP

A.J. Brown props

Stat line: 8 receptions, 114 yards, TD
PropLine/OddsResult
Receptions5.5 (+102/-136)O5.5 (+102)
Receiving Yards72.5 (-114/-114)O72.5 (-114)
Anytime TD+125Yes

Brown's Super Bowl odds sure feel conservative when you look at what he was able to do in the Madden sim. Not only does he easily shed his defender on the play shown above, but he also high-points the ball with ease. Don't be surprised to see Brown make at least one catch like this in the actual Super Bowl; he's that talented.

Devonta Smith props

Stat line: Receiving TD
PropLine/OddsResult
Anytime TD+165Yes

We don't see much of Smith in this video, but we do know that he catches an end-zone pass from Hurts on a nice stutter-stop move. That said, this isn't exactly a shocker; he has the sixth-lowest odds to score a touchdown in Super Bowl 57.

Chris Jones props

Stat line: 4 tackles, 2 sacks
PropLine/OddsResult
Tackles + Assists3.5 (-102/-130)O3.5 (-102)
Anytime SackYes (-118), No (-108)Yes (-118)
2+ Sacks+500Yes

Jones is the only Chiefs player with a commendable showing in this video, taking Hurts down twice to cash in on some pretty long Super Bowl sack prop odds. Hurts was actually one of the most sacked quarterbacks in the NFL during the regular season, which could be why the Madden franchise sees big things for Jones this weekend.

C.J. Gardner-Johnson props

Stat line: 5 tackles, 1 interception
PropLine/OddsResult
Tackles + Assists5.5 (-122/-108)U5.5 (-108)
Anytime INTYes (+630), No (-1400)Yes (+630)

A Gardner-Johnson INT of Mahomes will pay off faithful bettors handsomely – in fact, it's the most profitable outcome of any we see in the video. Gardner-Johnson comes up just short of converting the Over on his tackles + assists prop, but we're guessing that he won't care much if he does wind up picking off Mahomes.
