Gremelmayr EVEN vs. Navarro-Pastor
A primo spot to snatch the better price here. Navarro scores the big upset of Paul Henri-Mathieu & earns the favorite tag for this match. It marks the biggest win of his young career, but leads to that inevitable possibility of a let-down vs. Gremelmayr. The German won his first rounder vs. a game Jeremy Chardy in 3 sets. Remember, this is the guy who won in LA against the likes of Marat Safin & Feliciano Lopez. In the Spring on clay, he scalped Blake, Tursonov & Almagro in the same tournament. He also took a set from Federer in Estoril & one from Djokovic at the French.
Point is, Gremelmayr has the talent when focused to compete at a top level. Navarro obviously has talent as well, KO-ing Mathieu - but keep in mind that Mathieu was transitioning back to clay & hadn't done that real well this year. Navarro posted some nice wins in lower tier clay court events this season - but all things being equal, you get a better price in this one for the better play. Should be a 3 setter at the least.
