Seeking advice on Murray-Djoker game!!! About to play big on over 22 1/2....I am almost sure that Murray, if does not win, at least takes one set which will be an easy over....what do you all think? Why: Domachowska is not having a great season, but won with Cadantu here who is rising well on clay; Duque is on her surface but had some problem in her first round with a player that I don't know but is 188th in the ranking.

Yung-Yan Chan - Camila Giorgi
Pick: Camila Giorgi @ 2.05 [+105]
Why: Chan is nothing special on clay; she still have a positive win/loss summary on the surface but played few matches and likes hard courts more.
Camila is more complete and borns on clay, very interesting young as I said some pages ago in the thread, won first round very easy while Chan fought in three with Biserup.

Hope you have been doing well Niki! I didn't see much on the board today for tennis. I put one parlay in, so I will share it with ev1. It's raining here, so no tennis for me today probably. Arg!!! I'll put the play here now & I'll do the write up for it in a few mins bec the matches are about to start for one of them I think:

1.) Ito, -750 : Ito had been rolling in challangers until last week when he lost to Herbert. He won the Challanger the week before & should of made it to the finals (if he didn't lose 3rd set breaker) in the tment the week before that. Peers has played only one match on this level, about 6 weeks ago, and got steamrolled by Millman. I look for Ito to get back on track to start this week.

2.) Medina Garrigues -700 : Garrigues is Spanish & is much more comfortable on the clay, then Oudin is. She has played both singles & doubles in the last two big WTA tments & can move very well on this surface. With decent results, I look more towards the mediocre play of Oudin this year. She had to go through qualies to get into this event. Her only other two results this year on the WTA level were a loss in March & a loss in Feb. Both not even close. I look for Garrigues to win a close match possibly.

3.) Baker -250 : Baker lost a close third set first round loss two weeks ago. Last week, he made it to the semis & lost in three sets, almost making the finals in Bath. His form looks fairly good & he will be hungry to continue the solid play and move into the second round this week. Sandgren has not played a tment on the Challanger tour this year. He lost in qualies in Dallas Challanger to Kim. He has played futures all year & typically loses around the quarters. He did win a Future three weeks ago, but the draw looked fairly week. This could be a close match actually, but I do expect Baker to pull this match out & move onto the second round.

WOW! Talk about sweating the first two plays of my parlay. Ouchie.......... (this is why WTA always makes me nervous & chanllangers can still be a toss up at times). Looks like "Giant Non Killer nowadays" actually won the second set 6-4. Garrigues crushed her in the third 6-0. Surprised it went 3, but a win is a win huh?? Ito really struggled in his opening round match. He won the first set before being handed a 6-1 second set. He finally got the late break in the third at 5-5 and won in three sets. That was way too close for my liking!! So, that leaves us Baker this evening & the odds we got on him are now great! GL!

Well, when I saw the score for the first time it was 0-6, 6-0 going into the third. I thought, WOAA!! What happ here??? But when I looked at it, Baker lost all 3 break points in the first & he just had a rough opening first set. From then on there, he pretty much rolled him. He won second 6-0 & broke early in the third set to go up 2-1 and held from there, although he had a couple more break points I think and didn't get the insurance break. All three picks today go three sets, but two were dominated pretty comfortably.

Thanks Niki & Adam! Saw a lot of plays I like last night for this morning. But I passed out & slept like a champ! I have had a rough time getting all 3 kids to school today, so I know I missed some plays that I probably liked. I am going to look at the board & see what I like and I will post my play or two on here in probably 30-45 mins.

Hope you get that situation fixed Niki. We need you on your own thread mate I like to tail you on your plays, hopefully I'll find something solid.

Two parlays today for me. Both have two of the same players, so tail at your own risk. Neither payout is spectacular, but I feel good about my 2 players in each one. Maybe you like only one of the third players I added to each. So if you tail, there is some flexibility here as to what YOU might think is the better of the two parlays. I like both, so I am playing both.

Marina Erakovic - Karolina Pliskova, Jesse Levine - Cataline Gard
Pick: Marina Erakovic, Jesse Levine @ 1,86 [-115]
Why: Erakovic won 15 matches on clay last year and lost only 2 times. She faces Pliskova who has a negative record on the surface in 2011. She recently lost by 170th Molinero on Osprey ITF and had some problem to win with 208th Hendler. I think Erakovic should be more solid and would take this match.
Levine faces a young romanian on his favourites court and I can't see the upset here, should win in straights.

1.) Levine -750: Jesse's last four matches were ALL very close & all against good players (Kunitysn, Ramos-V, Farah, Isner, Kubot). Except Ramos winning the third set 6-2, every set was either 6-4 or 7-6. So he has been playing fairly well, he has just barely missed winning all of those matches by second or third set breakers. Looking at Gard, he has yet to play a match on the Challanger level all year. Later last year he won a few matches on Challangers against some weak players & got crushed by Maximo Gonzalez and R Ram. I fully expect Levine to win comfortably & move into the second round this week.

2.) Stosur -650: I thought over this a bit & I do like the way Sam has been playing of late. She had a tough loss to Serena last tment in the Quarters. She should of beat Petrova in Paris the week before (lost third set breaker) to move into Quarters. Two tments before that, she lost to in form Azarenka in the Finals. She has been striking the ball very well since she took time off after her first round exit in Melbourne. Hampton barely beat Stephens in a super tight two setter yest. The tment before in Miami, she went thru qualies & got crushed by Hercog in first round. This could be a close match, but I expect Stosur to move past Stephens with her kick serve & solid groundies & recent form.

3.) Medina-Garrigues -320: I had a write up on Garrigues yesterday & she seems to have really played well in the third set against Oudin yest. She should be more comfortable & getting her feet more underneath her today. She does move well on this surface & sometimes it takes a match when switching surfaces to feel it out. Rodionova beat Czink in three lopsided sets yest. Czink filled in bec Erakovic pulled out. Rodio was very up & down that match and will need to play much better today to challange Garrigues. She lost her last two tments in qualies & her form has not been her best this year. I expect Garrigues to move through this match in straights. We might see a fight here, but I'm hoping Garrigues conts her play from her match yest. She played extremely well in that third set.

4.) Olivetti -450: Olivetti went thru qualies last week in Paris & got into the main draw. He played really well! He took out Bachinger & Fish, before barely losing to Llodra in two breakers I think. I expect his solid play & in form to cont this week. His opponent, Mirzadeh, hasn't played on the Challanger level in almost four years. I think he plays Futures & I fully expect Olivetti to get through this match and move into the second round.

Yea Niki, rained halted play. They start early this morning & I need Oliv and Levine to win to be a slight loser yesterday. I still feel good about today's plays. I was surprised to see Garrigues get broke at 5-5 in first set yest. When I heard, I didn't have a good feeling from that point out. I saw Rodionova play once & I thought she was very weak. Her form of late hasn't been very good, so the win yest for her was prob her best of the year. ARG! I'll wait to see how this morning goes & prob post one pick today Niki! BOL to us

Oliv out to a great start, up 4-1. Levine got broke at 1-1 to start his match. Gard made 4 first serves & won first service game and then breaks Jesse. I tell you what Niki, if Levine can't knock off a 30yr old Romanian ranked #548, I might never bet on tennis again in my life. Matches still early, looks like Levine got the break back These are early matches, I need my guys to be wide Fing awake!! Vamos!

I thought forever yest over Garrigues or Petrova in my parlay. Kind of frustrated I finally choose Garr. Petrova played great yesterday, won easy.........
I looked at Hercog today also. I think Petrova will have another comfortable match. I am waiting as well for these early matches to finish. Spurs got me rolling last night, until the Lakers blew a 17pt lead to NOT cover last night, LOL!!! Yest was that kind of day

Hey D, I have been running up & back to teach lessons. I am also kind of waiting for the Levine match to finish. I think Niki is too. I have one more lesson this morning & then I finally get to stay home and relax and look at what's left for tennis today. Looks liike Levine took the second set, we are going 3!! Just got it. Checked scores. Think I am gonna go break a few old raquets in my driveway! Levine loses 2-6 in the third to a 30 something year old not even in the top 500. And Oliv was up a set AND a break & he loses the second set and the third set 2-6 to a 25 year old not even ranked in the top 1,500. What a disgusting morning of tennis. All I can say is........wow.

When I cool down, I think I will ck the board. I am not in a happy mood right now

Some of these matches are very brutal and fishy too...quality opponents losing to random unknowns. I would not be surprised if there was something going on in these - these guys can make 6-7 figures just by losing on purpose, knowing they'll never make this kind of money anytime soon in the Tennis world

Polona Hercog - Marion Bartoli
Pick: Polona Hercog @ 2.6 [+160]
Why: Hercog had many up and down, more down than up, but finally finds her surface where had some good result last year. Bartoli lost one set with Dushevina and can lost two today; I see Polona more solid than Dushevina and if her serve will work she can beat Marion for sure.

Dennis Zivkovic - Riccardo Ghedin
Pick: Dennis Zivkovic @ 2.2 [+120]
Why: This guy simply seems on fire here. No set lost from qualies and all crushing wins. I noticed him yesterday yet when he was up with Begemann at around +200, won 6-2 6-1 and don't know why I didn't play him.
Ghedin is one of the few italians who likes more fast courts than clay. Lost a set with Saavedra-Corvalan, a player that is 310th but I don't know.
When a player finds good sensations and plays every day better and better it's hard for him to lose his trust. Hope Zivkovic will continue his run and won't stop today.

Marc Gicquel - Tomasz Bednarek
Pick: Tomasz Bednarek @ 5.25 [+425]
Why: Gicquel is not having a good run from some week, will probably take this ok, but I wanted to do an attempt on this guy, Bednarek, who won as underdog in first round and maybe can repeat the surprise today. The french went out a fight with Navarro-Pastor and I hope the age will be a factor for him and won't be at 100% today.
