Sorry, I just got home from picking up kids. I wouldn't say he's a lock, but it is his match to win or lose for sure! Like I said in my earlier write up on him, if he plays the way he did yesterday (being patient in the rallies, setting up points) he will win. If he goes for the winner early in every rally, he might give Russell a window & would prob lose the match. Otherwords, if he plays smart, he should win. Russell does not have the power or ability to hit him off the court at all! He will grind & grind like he did yesterday, like he always does. This is Ryan's match to win or lose. I personally like him to get throught this match, could be close, it is a match he needs to win in my eyes.

Don't throw the towel in on Harrison just yet. I watched him play a HORRIBLE first set in his first match this week. He adjusted after the set break & came out and played very smart and well in the second & third to win that match. I have not been watching this match, I just got in from a lesson. But he broke Russell down a break 2-3 and then held his serve when he was down 0-30 to go up 4-3 in this set. If Ryan can get this to a thrid set, I really like his chances. Russell will not roll over, but if Ryan keeps it together he could pull out a three setter again. If he breaks this game, it will definetly go three.
I also should of noted that after the Anderson loss on my small play, I only played this for 1/2 a unit. In the next write up, I will explain why. Go Ryan!!!

Giraldo won EASY in his match today! So the first play at -147, CASH IT

And I really thought we had an EXCELLENT chance to get that Anderson match to a third set!!! I will take any player in a tiebreaker if he only has to win that one tiebreaker for a +180 to +190 payout! I certainly would not want to be on Monaco at -350 and in a first set breaker. That would be the wrong side without a doubt. Even in the second set at 5-5, I thought we would have another shot at a tiebreaker to give us the sweet payout!! It was SO close, 6-7, 5-7. Either set went to Anderson, the payout was really good. I will always take a shot when I have those kinds of odds on a COIN FLIP match! Great effort by Kevin. Wish we would of cashed that second play.......

So already being up for the day, the second parlay with Harrison, I only played to win 50. I kept it small so just in case, I would only lose a small few bucks today, nothing to really worry about. But if he wins, then that would of left Berlocq to just win for a GOOD day today. In the future I will note if I am going smaller on a play.

***All my parlays I play to WIN 100. That is 1 unit for me. So a half unit would be to WIN 50. And trust me, I want to win as much (or more) than anyone else does. I know that Niki does his best looking at the matches and so do I. Many thanks to Niki for his hard work to help all of us who visit this thread

Like I said brotha, don't count out Harrison just yet!! He breaks Russell at 6-5 in the second to win the second set 7-5. Looks like we are going 3 sets now!!! I hope Ryan keeps the energy level high & the play smart. He has every chance to win this third. Go Ryan!!!

For the evening matches, I have to do a quick write up bec I have lessons in 7 mins, LOL. I think Isner should win! BUT Sweeting plays out of his MIND in Houston for some unknown freaking reason. His serve is hitting high 130's & his forehand is smoking this week. Isner had a let up in the Zeballos match, which surprised me. I think the odds on Isner are WAY too high for me to touch this match. We could see one tiebreaker and one ok set. We could see 3 sets for sure here. Or maybe, just maybe, Ryan swings away & if he is on, the upset could be brewing here. After sweating out Isner last night, I can't go on -400 here. I think we will see a super tight match tonight. I would probably play the over if I had that option on my Bovada, but I don't
Lopez also struggled last night to win that match in straights. He was down pretty good on both sets! He will not be able to get away with that from Berlocq. Berl is way too solid off the ground to give much away on the rallies. I think the only chance Lopez has tonight to win this match is if his serve is BOMBING! He can do that on any surface, but if he is not hitting 12 aces or MORE this match or winning 90% of first serve points, then the match definetly swings in favor of Berlocq. Again, we could see 3 sets here or two really close sets. If I put a play in on this match, I will post it asap. That is the last match of the night, so I have some time to consider it.

                  And as always, GL ev1

Maybe to do the same plays you did for Anderson in Sweeting -
Isner is not a bad idea.
John has already lost a similar match in January with Reynolds, he can repeat this today.
I'm also thinking that he played so good in Montecarlo in the Davis and he knows he can do a great tournament next week. But winning today would mean to come in France on Sunday in the night or even on Monday (if
he plays the Final here), with no rest and no much time to find again the right feeling with those courts.
It's really possible that if he goes down he can let go this match, considering that he plays against a friend and a country mate.

Well, I pegged the over for the Isner match pretty easily. Like I said earlier, that would of been my play tonight if I had the option at Bovada.....but I don't. They only offer money lines. Berlocq

Berlocq retired at 2-2 in the first set. Something must of been off if he lost the first set rather routinely at 4-6. He is a tough fighter & a great ball striker on the clay. If you took him tonight, hopefully you got a refund. I didn't post a play bec I was not convinced he would take it to Lopez & at over -200, that does not make me comfortable. At Bovada, a retire at ANY time is a refund.

Overall day a slight loss. But not too much. If Anderson would of pulled out one of those sets, we would of won good. If Harrison would of won that third, it could have been a monster day! I am hoping for a good day tomm. I will check the board later & see if there is anything I really like.

Haven't seen ya on your own thread very much Niki. I hope all is going well & you get a chance to get some more time to share your knowledge. Also, I enjoy the conversations we have My next tment is not for 2.5 weeks, so its lots of training for me at the moment. Talk to you soon brotha.

Nope, 5Dimes once a set is completed it's in the book. Freakin' guy could have quit in the first. Had him in a small parlay and a future @ 20-1. About ready to bail on tennis, every time I look up somebody's "retiring". Might just stick to Challengers. Don't mind me, I'm just bitter!

I was on 5dimes for prob 7 years!! No one has better odds or different lines than they do. The reduced juice option is excellent. Payouts were easy. But I just needed something different. A change of pace. Bovada is very easy to deposit **. I only dep cash, bec it makes the payouts SO much easier. I have been off soccer for quite awhile now!! I had so many bad beats, so many goals in 90th minutes to lose totals & money lines. I just can't do soccer ever again in my life. When 1 team outshoots another 21-4 & has 65% possession and DOESN'T win.....thats when I left soccer for good. And that prob happ 1/2 dozen times. BUT, I do think they do more soccer action than tennis. Bec I see money lines, handicaps, totals, live betting....

Now, for the tennis they only offer money lines & small props on most matches. Like 1st set winner or someone wins 2-0, 2-1 & vice versa. I do not use those hardly ever. I miss the totals & handicaps, but it has actually been good for me. Bec I played way too many matches. Overs here. Plus games there. Unders. Etc. etc. With only money lines, I am more selective & cautious to what I play. And not playing a bunch of plays has really kept my gambling in check. And I actually find I am doing better. Less plays, more quality plays.
And if retire at any time in a match, refund! That I do like for sure.

All other sports are just like 5dimes. They don't offer a ton like 5D, but Bovada has a lot of sports. Not just football & basketball & baseball. No phone wagering though, it's all online. Customer service is ok. No problems yet

Hi guys, I'm at National Team Championship and I can't write so much.
Today Ljubicic +105 against Dodig is a gift.
Dodig is not even close to a pure claycourter, but the main reason to pick Ivan is this is his last tournament. He lives here and it's like his home tournament. I'm 90% he won't finish his career on a first round Sunday against Ivan Dodig, without tv coverage, and I know for sure that when you had a great career and you are at your last tournament you will give more than everything you have inside. So Ljubicic today is a must play for me.

                                      Over Isner/Monaco 23 -125

I couldn't decide who will take this match. I feel Monaco prob has the better chance today, but Big John has saved 15 of 15 break points this week & has served 40 aces this week. I think he is going to need all of this to hang in there with Juan today. As you know with Isner, there will prob be a tiebreaker. I am hoping two! I think Isner will give everything he has today, bec he is in the US, the crowd will be all Isner & this is another chance to win an ATP title. Remember, he lost his first round match here two years ago & everyone at River Oaks was so dissapointed. This year, he can win the title and I think he will give everything he has got this afternoon. I do feel he is a little fatigued, but he will give 100% today, that you can count on!
Monaco is the better clay player here & he has done a good job taking care of his serve this week. A few more break chances than I would have expected, but I do think he will bring his A game today for the same reason Isner will. This is a chance to win an ATP title, on clay, and he will not have a better shot this year probably than to face an American on his least favorite surface probably. I think he will also give 100% today & as long as he takes care of his serve today, he should be right in this match to the very end.
I would be shocked to see a two setter than doesn't include a tiebreaker. Both men are very motivated & both serving well this week. I would love to see three sets or a tight tight two setter. Starting in 6 mins, so lets hope for a batlle!!!

Isner got broken in the first set twice. I think he kind of tossed that set to save energy for the rest of the match. Although he looks like he is going to fall over on his next point from exhaustion, he does keep fuel in the gas tank. He always looks like that, so I knew he would have a good push in the second. After 6 break chances early in the second set, he FINALLY broke Monaco. Isner had to fight of several break points himself on the 5-3 game, but he managed to serve big and held to win the second set. I can now see the third going to a breaker to make this an epic final & a smashing finish to the tment here at River Oaks in Houston. Could not have asked for a better finish to a great tment!!!

5D's taken Raonic off the board, but played a mix of your other picks. Good luck!

Note to self: Raonic on clay = NO. This really shocked me. I know Milos is not that comfortable on clay. But with that serve & forehand he has, I am really surprised he lost to a STRUGGLING Montanes. Albert has only won a few matches the entire yeaer & has had some really bad losses to some players not nearly on Raonic's level. Obviously, this busted both of my plays today. I only put him in both, bec Montanes has had such a BAD year & I wouldn't of thought he would get his first good win for the entire year over a player of Raonic's level. I was more or less betting against Montanes. Wow, did that backfire on me. Down about 150 to start the day, ARG!!!

I was also surprised to see Donskoy lose to Muchado. Muchado has had a horrible year so far! Losing a ton of first round matches & getting blown of the court by average players. Donskoy has been winning quite a few matches this year & I thought would be hitting the ball better and have confidence on his side without a doubt.

***I am at least very happy I read the Hernych match correct. I saw him play in Houston & he should of won that qualie final to get into the main draw. He played really solid & his serve looked good for most of what I saw. Van der Mervwe has had a very rough start to the season & has not won a match in 6 weeks I think. Hernych won in straight sets.
I did parlay Herncyh at -180 with 3 of my best NBA picks tonight. I have saved myself from a couple rough days in the last few weeks by parlaying the last tennis match with some solid basketball picks. I am hoping I save myself again tonight

There are a lot of plays on the board tomm. I am going to be looking at them early tonight & I HOPE to have a much much better day tomm. If Raonic had beat a struggling Montanes, I would of been up 3/4 unit today. It was close in three sets. Still a little mad about that one......
I already see matches I really like for tomm, going to narrow my picks down by tonight.

Bolelli deserves an attempt today. People who saw him playing in qualies said he's really in shape. That odd seems good, +215 on my book.
Another play can be Kukushkin +140 against Florian Mayer.
Maybe Giannessi can do the "country upset" against Volandri, and I like Bellucci to put in a parlay with some other.

I had to put my play today thru my phone. Odesnik went 3 sets, but blew him out in the third. Surprised he lost a set acutally. And something was wrong with Sweeting. He lost 8 of 9 games & retired. What a surprise, bec if he was feeling healthy, he should of won easily today. So not much of a winning day on a wager that only paid -500, arg!!

I think the Tsonga/Verdasco match could be a very close match. If the match is a one sided affair, I feel it would go to Tsonga's favor. Otherwise, it will be a hard fought contest to the very end. I have watched Verdasco play once & he looks like he plays two different games in the same match. If he brings the game where he has lost a set in EACH of the first two matches, Tsonga will own him. If he plays like he did in the other two sets, we will see an entertaining match for sure I think. I do feel that Tsonga can play great clay court tennis & Verdasco will need to bring his top game to have a chance. I feel this is Tsonga's match to do well & if his serve is on today, I like him into the fourth round.
Russell has been playing great tennis the last few weeks & has been inspired to fight so hard in EVERY match, that was evident in Houston. He plays a player today he has done well against every time, 8-0. Russell continued his good play by taking out the #8 seed in fairly easy straight sets yesterday. I love to ride players in Challangers who are on a hot streak & you can say Russell is defintely on one. Not to mention he should have a ton of confidence for beating Kuznetsov twice last year. Kuznetsov was an alternate to make the main draw in this tment. He did beat Delic in easy straights yesterday, but Delic lost in qualifying and got a lucky loser spot to play a first round match. I feel that he will have a MUCH tougher time today with Russell & should have his hands full on every point today.

And as I said earlier, Verdasco's play has dropped considerably in the second set. Tsonga up a double break & this set could be ugly bec Verdasco is not bringing a good game at all. Tsonga up 4-0 in second, lets keep it rolling!

Bellucci is playing some great tennis & if he brings that power lefty game, Haase is going to have all he can handle today. Haase really likes the faster surfaces better, lets hope Bellucci can continue his run this week.
