As much him as anyone else really. But I don't want to see another year of Djoko winning everything. Not only is that bad as a bettor because other than futures bets you can't make much off of him unless you're willing to lay some serious chalk, it makes things a bit dull.Comment -

He could. Only two of their matches have ever not ended in straights - one was on clay, the other was over 5yrs ago. I think the under is safer though if you think it's not going to be a long, drawn out match because it can still go 4 and hit. Then again, I'm pretty conservative when it comes to prop bets so if you're feeling a bit daring, go for it

Different stage of the tournament and two totally different players. If you look at their scorelines, other than one match that ended in two TBs, they've always had a 6-3 or less thrown in and I can't see anything to indicate why that would change. Even if Murray grabs a set, I still feel better about the under than the over as I can't see them 6-4'ing this or higher all the way through. But I've been wrong many times before lol.

His serve has been pretty solid an while his experience on this surface isn't extensive, he obviously agrees with it right now. Well I got myself in position to do well in the finals. Took Djokovic @ +110 to win the title to off-set my Rafa future. Rafa future would pay off much bigger if he wins. If Djokovic wins, I get a slight bit above even. Have the Azarenka future still and will likely be playing Sharapova not just as a hedge, but as the pick I think will win.Comment -

I posted in the match thread, but just in case you miss it, here's Andy's post match presser. I really think he's going to have a breakout year as far as confidence goes. Guy usually would've been pissing and moaning about everything but instead his only complaint was the wait time for the blood tests. No way I'm auto fading after this one.

Thanks for that. Yeah I think anyone who has seen Murray play in the past and saw him today can see the change under "The Lendl" [I'm using that until he gets fired]. Murray will have himself in the mix in all the Slams again this year I think and I don't think he necessarily needs "luck" i.e. someone knocking off a Rafa or a Djokovic to win a Slam now. I think he legitimately could have a shot. Now we won't know until he actually gets back into a final of course.
Of his play in Australia, I really only saw a few moments when he let that 4th set slip away quick today where he showed any of the "Old Andy" with the complaining and talking to his box. Lendl's influence is very apparent.Comment -

I think with the 4th though, the fact that he even acknowledged that you have to decide whether to fight once you're behind or tank so you can be more fresh for the 5th, is a big thing as well. How many times have we watched him and we've assumed he's been tanking but he wasted so much bloody energy crying to his box and at the chair ump, that he almost defeated the whole purpose because he was still drained in the final set, mentally if not physically. Today he spat the dummy for a moment but then truly just tanked. And that allowed him to really fight it out at the end. Murray breaking Djoko on serve in the 5th when he's trying to close out the match in a Slam SF??? I would've taken close to the max on the NO if that were hung as even a likely scenario before tonight.
I think this match + Lendl will turn out to be the best things that ever happen to him career wise. Whether Lendl's hardening him up (hard to fathom in a month or so but maybe) or he just happens to be coincidentally maturing, I really gained a lot of respect for him tonight as a player.Comment -
