I think him screaming at Murray in Brissie to stop yapping at the Box and just play the damn match really helped too. Oh and him walking out of the stadium because he was pissed off with Murray's whining. This is exactly what he needed. No judymoo coddling him any more. Old school, militia style training.

She's in Israel or something as the coach of the UK women's Fed Cup team go figure. Left Oz last wknd I think. Probably why he did so well today

Bryan Brothers going for all-time Doubles Slam titles record today. At -250, I think good parlay material. They seem destined to break The Woodies record in Australia. I'm using it with Prodon @ the Bucaramanga Challenger this afternoon in Colombia.

              lol crazy voodoo there

Have you watched them alot this tourney EP? I'm trying to move away from parlays a bit now... have been stung way too many times and I'm almost getting comfortable with the -200 to -250 range. But I've seen one of their matches so far in Melb and have no real feel of doubles on a good day as it is.

I will say they were lucky to win their last match, down 5-3 in a tie break. They even admitted that the end of the breaker was like a tornado where they didn't even know what happened and they ended up winning it. Definitely would not advise it as a non-parlay play because anything can happen and Paes-Stepanek took out two of the best teams already ... but the Bryans are the two time defending champs and it just seems like when breaking this record that they should do it here where the original team was from.

And all HEIL the Heilbronn Dogs! Three straight cashed.

Thinking about Jack Sock in Honolulu too. Need to read a little more info, but he's +175 against Soeda who is a tough little player, but the next Great White Hope for USA tennis has been dominant in two matches here .... might be worth a flyer. Good litmus test for him at the least.

                      Adding it.

                      Honolulu Challenger: Sock +160
Looking back at some of Soeda's losses in the past, he hasn't always fared well against guys with a bigger serve. At 19, Sock is still working on his game, but he is capable of serving big. He's done it through two rounds here, but needs to amp that up probably another level against Soeda who is a good player. These are good tourneys for Sock to hone his skills as he preps to get into main draws in San Jose and Memphis this Spring as a wildcard entry. If he's consistent, I think he rates a shot.

Indeed. Sock does not look like he's up the challenge of these higher level guys yet who are ranked around 100 or better.

Cripes Sugita blew this damn match so many times. Blew break leads several times in the 1st before winning it and blew another here in the 3rd and about to yack it up on serve to go down 5-6. The joys of Challenger tennis.

Major surpise he held to me. Men rarely ever hold from 0-40, happens with the women a lot but it's something I say every year ... when the men go down 0-40, I think it's under 10% that they come back and hold.

Sock rolling in the 2nd. Much better serving. Still have my doubts he pulls this out in 3, but a great learning experience for him regardless.

Yeah tevari ... Challengers are fun/maddening. Today was the perfect storm for me. I don't know if I have ever had a better day on Challengers than today, but all those Heilbronn lines just seemed silly where the dogs might have all been the better talent.

Hey EP - what do you think about tonight's final? I know you have a futures bet on Azarenka. Are you going to hedge any with Sharapova? I have a small futures bet on Maria myself and am probably going to hedge it as I think Azarenka gets it done tonight.

Just wanted to get your thoughts, and others' that don't include "such and such is a square play," before the match. Maybe there is a good prop or total to think about for tonight? Thanks!

Oh most definitely hedging on Sharapova since she is plus money and I think she has every chance to win. I still think you have to question Azarenka's mental state in a final until she proves she can win it. She did well in that category against Clijsters, but I think most can agree that Clijsters did not play well and made it easy for her not to crack + Azarenka played pretty well.

I think it's really a tough match to call on the total @ 22 or even 22.5. Props all look about 50-50, set pretty smartly. I don't find this to be a particularly great betting match.

Azarenka is a much better defender, these slow courts give her a big advantage in this match..
Aza will get to most of Sharapova's balls. That's probably why she is favorite,
but Masha is all heart and determination this whole tourney..It will be an interesting match...

Aza will get to most of Sharapova's balls. That's probably why she is favorite,

I don't think there's an edge in guessing two sets or three sets in this one. Could go any way. Azarenka could choke. Sharapova could double fault her way to a straight sets loss. Could be typical WTA roller coaster back and forth for 3. Very difficult to predict IMO.

5 x 3.6 = 18 5 x 3.2 = 16 10 = 13 So if it doesn't go to a third set you stand to lose either way- and you stand to make less going for the double Props. You either make 13 or 11.

Do the math next time before ya post it up
