My thinking exactly in all regards...a few things have me hesitant with kvitova and you nailed them-she hasn't really played anybody (hantuchova has not been in-form), coupled with the fact that she hasn't played JJ b4 and no1 that good of a defensive player in this tourney. If petra does serve well, she takes it with ease imo...but that's never a guarantee. And I really like Lopez in this spot and actually believe his first serve percentage will be better in this one...ferrer has issues with lefties and on hard court lopez has fared well against him, we'll see how it goes. lopez's habitual DF after putting too much into the second serve scares me as well as it seems like no one is backing ferrer who despite grinding out the last three wins were against people with big serves... have 2u on lopez though should be fun AND it's going to be watchable in great quality on ESPN3

I see Lopez is slumming it in Orleans France this coming week. Could be a great play on his opponent Clement, talk about dam travel fatigue, going from Shanghai to France and then to boot of playing this far into the draw is going to take its toll somewhat. Would not be surprised after getting 250 ATP points in China, he just withdraws or better yet, plays like absolute Dog shit and does not care vs the Frenchmen.
