I've been to International Falls but I honestly never followed any of the US high school teams that were close to where I lived. My hometown had an awesome league and was basically a farm team for the OHL so I mainly paid attention to that. I was a serious hockey bunny at one point.

I remember a junior hockey game playoff game in St. Paul..

The Pembroke Lumber Kings came down to play
the St. Paul Vulcans....

The game turned violent when a Lumber King got cut
by a Vulcan skate and the entire Lumber King club
hopped the bench and started fighting with the Vulcan
bench...

I tell ya...it was like a scene out of " Slapshot "....

Hey Bobby! I'd say Ilhan and Zeballos are probably my strongest leans so far but it's a bit of a toss up between the two. Best of luck with your plays today!!

And thanks again also for sharing your picks so generously, I've started doing a few of my own but still learning. Hoping to be able to watch quite a bit these next 2 weeks and get more of a feel for some players.

Zeballos is definitely a great chance to beat Lu, who has been in ordinary form.
Im also on llodra 3-0 -117 and a small play on zahlavova to knock off kleybanova at +417 as well as a few other plays
what are you guys thoughts?

I actually have two little bets on Zahlavova 2-0 and 2-1. I definitely think she has a chance to beat Kleybanova in this one. Quirky random fact: The two times Llodra has made it to a final the week before Wimbledon, he's been knocked out the first round. Mind you the last time was in '05 but I still found it interesting since he's been knocked out in the 1st round 4 out of the 9 times he's been to Wimbledon, most recently in '08. I wouldn't be shocked to see Witten get a set from Llodra but I could be giving him too much credit as well. Best of luck today!

Yeah, but at least he took it to 7 so I'm happy with that. That's one perk of the Slams - 5 sets. A lot of time for a player to turn it around.

I'm shocked at Ball and Schnyder though. Honestly don't know what happened to those two.

Thought hard about that Riske one, but for some reason I thought it was way too sexy to get her against Wickmayer again at a solid price after she beat her already this year. First day of the Slams has a way of demolishing people. That's why I try to keep it simple with 2-3 plays. I had Mayer too. He had a shot to make it a match in the 2nd, but lost that tie break. I'll still fade Monfils in the right spots.

It's really silly of me to play so much in the opening rounds but because of the time difference I always do so it forces me to watch matches when I'd normally go to sleep.

I got lucky though with a few smaller prop plays and maybe a parlay (if Ilhan can win his damn match) I didn't bother posting because they were longshots so I didn't end up as badly as I could have but still - not a good day just from a capping standpoint. I'm waiting to see what's going to happen with the Wawa match - if I get paid out on it then I may look at a few more today but if they just cancel the bets than I'm going to pack it in for the night and just watch the Spain match.

I'm so sorry to anyone who tailed. I haven't had a stinker like that in awhile. I'm going to play a few more matches now that I got paid out on the Wawa first set bet but won't post my plays so I don't risk taking anyone else down with me. Best of luck everyone!!

I really wanted to watch the Spain match but I'm dying here. I think I wasted too much energy watching the Federer match. This time difference nonsense is a killer, especially when you have two major events on at the same time. We may as well turn into vampires.
