Well, I took Henin 2-1 so I'm hoping it's a close one. Dulgheru's last 8 losses were in 3 sets and were to some top names so I think it's a decent bet.

It wasn't that bad of a play, guys. Istomin has been serving well leading into this match. But GGL has almost twice the match experience on grass and sometimes that's under-rated. To be honest, I was slightly leaning GGL just because of the way he's been playing in this tourney so far but I definitely didn't feel confident enough to take him today. I'll have to see what the odds come out as here tomorrow. I tend to wait and see how the line moves and try to determine where the value is. I'll post them here once I figure it out. Best of luck in the MLB today.

this tipsarevic/stakhovsky final is way too tough. tipsy is -150 and clearly the form speaks otherwise, stakhovsky has been serving great all week and tipsy is going for his first career title. i just can't make a play on this one, i like both guys here

I watched Makarova play against Stosur last night, all i can say is Sammy was not interested and did not serve well.
Makarova has to be the worst female player on the planet, she is terrible, miss hits galore, barely gets the ball past the service line and get this she ducked out of the way of one of Stosurs serves

, ive never seen this.
That said im on azarenka tonight for 5 units.

Well, it seems Stak rolled in 2 easy sets. Had little bets on 2-0 and 2-1 but nothing to write home about. They were purely last minute action bets to make the match more interesting to watch. Glad to see him get the win!!

Thinking of going for a small parlay of Llodra/Azarenka.

GGL is playing some good stuff on grass, but think Llodra is far more experienced on grass and can mix up his game very well to unsettle Lopez.

Azarenka should win easily imo, but you never know in WTA.

I was initially going to do the parlay but decided to skip it only because I've been nailed too many times by them and I'm trying to stop with them altogether. You're definitely right about Azarenka but I'm hoping she keeps her head together as she has this week so far and finishes off Makarova easily. Best of luck.

How does it look like year after year?
Let's see at Makarova. On her way to Eastborne final she won with Stosur and Kuznetzova and might win Azarenka. Nonetheless how is she gonna do at Wimbledon having all that confidence?
Do such players go far in big tournaments?

I honestly don't know to tell you the truth. I've never kept track. I only started the thread since I was forgetting to PM people when they asked for plays. I don't put my proper units on here because I don't want to encourage anyone to bet more than they can afford just because they see someone else do it. Any unit sizes I add are just showing how strongly I feel about a play so it's hard to figure it out for sure. I've been making money, if that helps.

I'm not shari, but I've been betting Tennis for a few years now. As far as I can say, they don't do well in big tournamens like Wimbledon. Most of those higher ranked players don't take these games very serious, just participate to get used to the court. Also, most of the players don't make much effort, as they want to avoid any injuries.

Hush is right, Tommy. They don't tend to fare too well in the Slams. These tournaments are more used as warm-ups for the top players to adjust to playing on a new surface before a Slam - in this case from clay to grass. I wouldn't go as far to say that they really don't want to win but most of the them are not putting in their maximum effort and are just trying to fine-tune their game. That's why you see so many big favourites go down in these ones.
