I threw $50 on Mahut before I went to bed last night. Stopped caring 2 hours ago if he wins or not.

Glad to hear you didn't get on Fish though. I didn't play him either but I did think he was going to win. He blew him away on winners and had so many chances to break but just couldn't convert.

I've bought back Ilhan, Schuettler, Luczak and Hlavackova. I still think they're okay plays but between the way the line is moving here and the fact that my son is awake so I won't really be able to watch any matches closely, there's no pointt for me to have so much action going on.

Bad start so far. Both Makarova and Perry had disastrous first sets and then of course kept it close in the 2nd. It's days like this when I wonder why I bother betting on women at all.

Hopefully things turn around for the rest of the day.

Honestly, no. The only one I sort of like is Davydenko but he's never trustworthy enough to lay that much chalk on him.

How come there is no tie break in the 5th?There is a tie break at the moment but one of them must win by two games. They call it tie break in Wimbledon, different rules to other Slams thou

I have a general tennis question. The pick of Lepchenko +4.5 -107. You won because Bondarenko had 16 and Lepchenko had 13 which covers the 4.5 right? Thanks. New to tennis betting in general.

Sorry! I just saw this now. But yeah, Tommy's right. I tend to take a lot of dogs in the early rounds of tournaments as I look for value in the lines, and playing the handicap is a safer way of doing it if you're not 100% sure the player has a chance of winning.

I just checked and they are playing almost 10 hours all together and at 59-59 the match was interrupted due to darkness

Not over - and yeah the booing was pretty bad considering Mahut still wanted to play and both players were obviously dying out there. But then again, it is a bit of a letdown to not get a result either way. I watched that bloody thing from the moment it resumed play today and at one point when the shadow had almost entirely crossed the court I jokingly thought play would be suspended at some point. I didn't think it would actually happen though!

Yeah, that's why we were laughing when DeBakker's match got to 16-14 in the 5th set. Normally you'd use that as a negative against him but considering he'll be playing either Mahut or Isner it doesn't matter. Although I'm definitely staying away from that match. Isner has a doubles match with Querrey coming up tomorrow as well.
