I'm on Malisse. Melzer's looked like arse and I don't trust him to last over 5 sets against Malisse who actually goes ok on grass. He made the semis here a couple of years ago and is 7-0 against lefties on grass which helps too. Going to be a close match though I think.

Shari, what do you think of Berdych today? I like him a lot, and at a good price. He won straight sets in all the games. Fish was a bit lucky that Haase retired. Think about going 50% in. Opinion would be appreciated!

Malisse -181 vs. Tomic. I think these are very good odds. Tomic beat Soderling, but he will not beat in shape Malisse. But I think he will take a set from Malisse though. Tomic might be quite exausted, but Malisse is fresh and in good shape.

Berdych -243 vs. Fish. Good odds.
Lopez -303 vs. Kubot. Have not seen any of them playing in this tourney, but Lopez beat Shuettler and Roddick. It is enough for me to think Kubot cannot touch him.

Gasquet +281 vs Murray. I love his play and I think the Frenchman might give a surprise vs crowd favorite.

V.Williams -256 vs. Pironkova. I give no chance to Pironkova.

Went over serving stats.

Tomic serve speed is similar to that of Melzer so he should be able to cope. Tomic serves quite many aces though. So Malisse win is biggest question mark.

Fish serve is nothing, Berdych on the other hand has very powerful serve.

Lopez has great serve, lots of aces. Kubot has powerful serve, but almost no aces at all.

venus is around +900 to win wimbledon which is great value for hedging.

i dont think she will actually win but she has an easy road to the late stages of the tournament.

I agree with all these leans Sharla. Am putting Berd and Lopez in a parlay together and then Venus reasonably big outright but might hedge it if she wins first set.

Gasman, I think i´ll wait to in-play as I can see a run of money pooring in on Andy late driving his price down.

Malisse i´m still deciding on as he can be way too casual with my money, and Tomic is hot right now.

Not sure I would write off Pironkova so easily. She beat Venus last year pretty comfortably and she is looking pretty solid at the moment. Knocked out Zvonerva the other day easily enough aswell.

I can see Venus edging through but it will be a tough mate.

But Malisse is known to talk shit to umps. I once saw that he had a bit damaged racket and he asked umpire for a new one. He was so impatient that abused ump as you say

Even when Malisse gets a breakpoint he just stands there like a dud. This is why he'll never be a great player. His head's messed up somehow.
