I feel the same way Shari, I loved Wimbledon and actually went to Newport but these European tournaments are so hard for me to even look at. I know how Europeans love their summer vacations and look at where these tournaments are this month, either a coastal party atmosphere like Bastad, a beautiful spa town like Bad Gastein, Gstaad Switzerland, Baku.

This month seems like a good time for me to take a break and rejuvenate, but I am really looking forward to the the German clay tourney in Hamburg next week in the ATP and Stanford on the womens tour at the end of the month and the Rogers cup and Cincinnati at the start of next month.

I may be weary of some of these Germans at hamburg after the way Zverev, Mayer, Petzschner and Kamke did today at Stuttgart. You have to really wonder about the motivation of players in the summer , even at home.

I think you take those results with a grain of salt, not that motivation isn't tough to gauge here, but this was also a surface switch and a lot of those Germans you mentioned aren't exactly great on clay in the first place.

The odds for Kubot-Garcia/Lopez game as changed very much.

First Garcia/Lopez were clear favorite and gave odds 1.72 and Kubot gave odds between 2.05-2.10. Then a couple of hours later Kubot only gave odds 1.70 and Garcia/Lopez gave over 2.00. And now when I checked the odds had changed radicaly again and now Garcia/Lopez was the favorite and gives 1.83 on 5Dimes and Kubot is 2.10.

Would very much appriciate your thouhts regarding this changes and what you think of this match. I know Garcia/Lopez played his last match two days ago and Kubot played yesterday. But that doesn´t explain to me why the odds are changing so much back and forth on who is the favorite.

JCF came back for the win! My JCF/Soderling/Ferrer parlay hit! JCF lost the 1st set and I thought it was fukked. He came back tho! After he lost that set, I tried to get another bet in on Soderling and Ferrer to make it up but the shit was already underway. Soderling toasted Berdych and Ferrer smashed Almagro. That will be a really good match tomorrow.

1st set Kubot up 4-2 and loses set 4-6. He totally quit playing while up 4-2. Makes no sense.

Kubot lost in 3. That guy is an idiot. Marin Cilic thinks Kubot is mentally unstable. He was broken to lose the match. He set up Andujar's break point by hitting the ball long with an open court. Then he douched it into the net for the loss.

Guys, can you give an insight on Blake vs Gulbis matchup. Have you seen James Blake recent games, how did he look? Odds are steadily going Blakes way.

Gulbis has been unstable, but I see this match can be very competitive.
Blake has some serious power, but he also has to be very precise. I think Gulbis +130 is worth a shot.

Blake had a good run at Winnetka, and that is probably why people like him. Gulbis is with Cahill and I hope it shows. I watched briefly his game against Tursunov, and he looked quite good. If Gulbis can serve well Blake will have his hands full.

Time to jump back in this week but man do some of these matches look like crap. I was hoping I'd missed most of the scrubby stuff when I was on my break but it seems not.

First two plays I've come up with so far:

Junqueira +138
Ramos +120

Sorry to tell you but looks like you are on the wrong side of the fix with Junqueira. He opened at -120 and is now at +175 at Betfair. Could be just random but Umaq is known for the fixes.

Yeah I had watched the line movement happen and still jumped on where I got him. Neither of these guys are the cleanest players and Junq's been known in the past to start off as the dog, go down early in the match so his odds blow out even more and then pull out the win. But this will definitely be one I'll watch and live bet.

Yeah the line is off but I'm not touching it. The women killed me during the grass season and I'm really going to try not to touch them yet unless I feel quite confident, regardless of what my damn numbers say. I'm also wary about taking Krumm even to cover the handicap because if Cibulkova comes out firing from the beginning, it could be over quickly. I'm just going to be cautious and stay away.
