I pay quite a bit of attention to her because she's one of the few Canadian women going at the moment. She has good form coming in and Barbie is a headcase who has been struggling quite a bit lately. Not a huge play but just stats wise, and the fact that Alex has had the chance to play these courts through qualies makes me feel comfortable putting a unit on her. But I'd never lay the chalk on her at this point; that's why I threw Petkovic in there.

Yeah no kidding. The only one I have is Lisicki so far but when I was doing my contest picks today I tried to find a few more to jump on like we'd talked about. But I honestly have no f'n clue. I can't even remember who I took to win the whole thing - I changed my mind 3 or 4 times. Between injuries and headcases, they're all kind of a mess. Maybe Li and Sharapova are the only two normal ones at the moment and what does that say?

Yeah that was awesome. Sucks Dokic didn't win but I'm glad they finished it before I tried to get a bit of sleep. That's probably the best women's match we're going to see in the first 2 rounds at least.

I won Schuettler, am waiting on Benesova to complete a parlay but her match is suspended until tomorrow, and I also have Giorgi and another parlay that will be played tomorrow thanks to the rain.

Only match playing right now is Murray but I'm not on that. Rain + no lights on outside courts = ass suckage.

There is not much but still +money if you are not sure about Benesova

Yeah, that's basically what I came up with. With the rain delay yesterday and she's the 2nd match today and there's more rain forecast, I don't trust her at this point with the stops and starts. She doesn't have the best grass pedigree as it is and Zahlavova's in the shithouse but I'd rather save my cash and just walk away with a tiny profit. I can have a bigger play on someone else when the forecast is better and I trust them more. Thank you

Thanks Roxxy, let's cheer for the Canadian girl! She's had a rough go of it for awhile and has finally sorted out some of her coaching and sponsorship issues. Now she's starting to win again so hopefully she can keep it going. Best of luck with the rest of your bets

I'm pissed I didn't take Diatchenko with the handicap. I took her on TI and I had her and Razzano in my damn bet slip and didn't pull the trigger. I didn't get to see a lot of Serena today. I'm watching Roddick on tv and keep switching my streams because I'm live betting like a maniac. I saw her in the 2nd set and I put a little note in my spreadsheet to stay away going forward if she managed to win the match. Unless someone's up against a real donkey, I can't back injured/returning players. That being said, I will put $20 on Hewitt just for the sake of cheering him on. They showed a large-ish group of Aussies dressed in the green and gold who had camped out since 5:30pm London time yesterday just to get good seats for the match. I figure this will probably be the last time I'm living here while he's in a Slam so I may as well piss another $20 away on him
