Yeah, I got pretty lucky with the favourites I picked getting through ok. The problem with the first round is that odds are based on very little so unless you do your research and look back over the clay season, people can be in for a bit of a shock.

No reason for Pous-Tio other than stats in comparison to the price. Other than that, she's always been good to me when I've backed her so hopefully she is again today. I notice her price has fallen quite a bit though so I'm rather uncomfortable with that. But I guess we'll see how we go.

I don't think it's necessarily solid as anything can happen but to me he's the clear favourite and was even before this match today. I haven't seen anything from him yet to make me have any doubts about him either physically or mentally.

I rely a lot on my own stuff but both of the outside sources I use you need to pay to access. One is TennisInsight and the other is OnCourt, which is actually a program you download to your computer.

I haven't really used any of the free sites for a few years but if you do a search in the tennis forum you'll be able to find lists of them as the question comes up somewhat regularly.

I've just started to look now. Dealing with a puking toddler here while working my mod shift so things are a bit squirrelly at the moment but from a quick glance, I'm going to pass on that one. Nishikori's too short for me to touch at this point considering he was battling some sort of virus a few days ago and Stak seems to have the mental resilience of an Iron Chef now. I can't risk it at these odds.

My guess is that the Andujar line has been adjusted according to the major rollercoaster of emotions experienced by every Nadal ML 'free money buyer' during the first round five setter. Most people don't like seeing their 'rock solid investment that pays 2% interest in under 2 hours' look so, well, risky at one point.

What I am saying is this: Nadal struggled against the big server in Isner, and was nowhere close to covering. Now if he is pissed off enough about what happened in the first round, a triple-bagel against Andujar is a possibility (exaggeration, but barely). At least, 6-1 6-1 6-0 would surprise me less than another five setter.

Hey guys -

I've literally only started to look now. The only play I have so far is Rus +7 -107. This is NOT a numbers play at all. This is a direct fade of Clijsters and the fact that after seeing her 1st match, I don't think she's going to push herself physically yet at this point in the tournament. She was not even close to sharp if you look at her stats - which is to be expected after such a long break but she wasn't as aggressive as usual even in a first round. And that's where the problem is. More UE's vs winners is normally enough for her to still sail through, but that, coupled with a lingering injury which was obvious in her match, doesn't convince me that she'd cover -7. Of course I've been wrong before

It's on my spreadsheet because I've played it but I'm just making it known like I always do that this is purely a fade - I haven't looked at any stats at all - so you may want to avoid it. Best of luck with your plays everyone

Because the books opened up with a really bad price on Larsson. This match is pretty much 50/50 so I think the odds are correcting themselves. If you like Makarova, don't worry about the line movement.
