Peng Shuai and her alleged disappearance
Thought there would be a thread on this discussing conspiracy theories and such about the subject...

For those that don't know, Peng Shuai, a known figure and multiple Grand Slam winner has not been seen of heard of since making a statement on a popular Chinese social media platform about a Chinese politician coercing her into sex as well as an on-off consensual relationship. Ever since retiring she has slipped quietly into a private life similar to that of high profile and dual Grand Slam Winner Li Na.

Her comments/existence and story has been wiped off Chinese social media platforms and their internet search engines but not before other media outlets and fans got ahold of her comments and screenshotted/posted her comments elsewhere.

Despite an alleged screenshot of an email from Peng to WTA Chief Simon the WTA still has grave concerns about her whereabouts and safety and will not stop until they know more.

From there, the WTA/ATP/PTPA and high profile Mens players such as Novak Djokovic and Stan Wawrinka have posted the trending "Where is Peng Shuai" Comments as well as high profile womens player Serena Williams amongst others. It has gained steam around former players and players of other sports as well as tennis journalists.

The WTA have been pretty serious about the potential boycott of Tournaments in China as well from this. Knowing full well the loss of dollars but are saying that this is bigger then the business as well.

Lastly it's interesting that Federer and Nadal haven't commented unless they're getting information on the situation beforehand. Federer did interestingly enough time his injury news and pre-injury news through Ljubicic with this story. Also being sponsored by Uniqlo could be a factor?

China is a country ran by old 70+ year old men with outdated values. I am glad this has come to the forefront and will definitely become a dent in the upcoming 2022 Olympics in Beijing. If Peng isn't found, I can see it bringing a halt to the Olympics as the world comes together to show how corrupt that country is.

WTA is ready to pull out of China and lose billions of dollars so I can see the rest of the world following suit in this upcoming Olympics if she isn't found.

This has turned into a major issue for China. The White House and UN are getting involved:

They need their ass kicked. You can't just rape someone and kill them when they speak up and get away with it.

          Not in 2021

China can. Besides, what the hell is Biden going to do about it? Lol

Interestingly enough they’ve tried to ease the uncertainty by posting unconvincing footage of her existence since the comments have been made.

And right after I said it it seems Federer and Nadal have also chimed in with concerns and asking for her whereabouts which is good to hear.

That video and those photos are outdated and fake.

The only way to confirm is through a live video interview which they won't be able to conjure up.

                I think she's dead.

After accusing a top Chinese government official of sexual assault, the tennis star’s well-being has become the source of international concern.
