Yes I do. not as heavy as the bigger events but if time allows for capping for sure. Definitely not during a Major like this just don’t have the time.

Bravo Kenin! That was an impressive close to the match!

Halep looks very solid here at the start. Was hoping the roof open would play for a little bit faster court. Halep defense looks like it’s just going to be too strong for Muguruza to obtain enough points to get past her here tonight. Hopefully Mugu can string some winners together and battle.

Unfortunately I have nothing tonight on tonight’s match. Just riding my college hoops/ice card. Good luck if you fire on the match tonight! I’m rooting for whoever will lose to Djok in the finals!

    Muguruza v Kenin

Muruguza getting by Halep was rather impressive. A few points in, I thought Halep’s relentless defense would cause Muguruza to make too many unforced errors and eventually be the demise of her. Instead, Muguruza countered with too many winners. She has been ripping the backhand to a point where it’s been mighty impressive. Muguruza comes in At the top of her game and is the favorite ... which she probably should be. But the question is - is she too much of a favorite?

Kenin has been equally impressive this tournament. Kenin will bring in the counter punching defensive style of tennis. I have this as a coin flip match showing some value on Kenin. In sports numbers mean a lot. But also watching the matches/games can mean equally as much.

If you watched Kenins last match against Barty or any of her other matches you should know by now this girl fights. She does not give in and is not going to give you anything easy. She’s gonna counter punch till she frustrates the hell out of you. A David Eckstein approach for my fellow MLB lovers. And when you show the signs of frustration that’s when she’s going to pounce. She hasn’t been in this spot before so maybe she starts off a little shaky (even though I don’t think she will). She just has too much of that competitive get up in my opinion. If anything she will be overhyped. I cannot get it out of my head how confident she became when Barty started to show signs of frustration. She was like a shark in the water. She smelled blood and as soon as she knew Barty was on the ropes she delivered the knock out punch in a confident way. If you were watching down the stretch you knew she was going to knock off Barty ...and quite frankly so did she. It was mighty impressive from this youngster. So if your capping angle against Kenin is the inexperience or big spotlight will be a little too bright I think you are making a mistake.

these two played on the hardcourt and I actually watched that match. Despite that one going three sets Kenin handled her rather easily in two of the sets. Granted I wouldn’t take too much of that into account considering Muguruza has looked like a completely different player lately than she was in that match. I’m really not using this match all that much in terms of a capping angle.

My numbers have value on Kenin. But even more so from what I have seen I can’t not get behind her as a decent underdog. At least if Muguruza takes our money you know it’s not going to be without one hell of a fight.

    Kenin +147 (1u)

Lets close this tournament out with a Kenin win and a Djok future cash!

Good luck all. Thanks for the feedback/kind words as well guys.

Thanks for the kind words! I saw that same thing I alluded to in the Kenin/Barty match. Kenin is very aware of the flow of the game. Which makes her a a very wise player for being so young. When Kenin felt Muguruza starting to crumble a little she knew the shot was there and knocked her out. Monster game when she held serve from love - 40. She won that game and that was the spark that ignited her. She knew that was her chance and again became that shark in the water. From that point she knew she was going to win and so did Mugs. Incredible! Congrats to the young American! Hell of a run.

    Cheers all!

    ATP Final

    Djok vs Thiem

I don’t have the time to write up much but ultimately I think Djokovic prevails. But being that I have a very very very large wager on Djokovic to win the open at +120 from the beginning I have to hedge out. Thiem has had some success vs him and has plenty of pop to knock off Djok if the ball is flying right.

I Only suggest tailing this if you rode with the very large Djokovic future from before the start of the tournament.

AGAIN THESE ARE A HEDGE off the Djokovic +120 (5u)

    Thiem +305 (risking 1.7u to win 5.185u)
    Thiem +2.5 sets (1.8u to win 1u)

ideally Djokovic gives up a set at some point but wins the match.

    Go Joker!

    Noon eastern ATP Córdoba:

    Carbellas-Baena -148 (0.5u)
    Carbellas-Baena -2 games -110 (0.5u)

Carbellas form isn’t the best and he hasn’t played on clay for a long time. However, he Has seen this surface far too much throughout his career. Every time these two have played it has been a mismatch. They have played 4 matches and Martinez has only won a single set on clay. While CB has basically won every other set going away. Line seems short. Might take Carballes a little bit of time
to knock the rust off and it is possible he loses but given the history of him on this surface and the match up history between these two I have to ride Carballes as a short favorite.

    Money line parlay:

    Londero -387/Paire -230 (-124) (to win 0.5u)

Londero is Córdoba. Paire is Pune.

Im not sure why the line is only -387 on Londero as I have it closer to -500. He makes a good parlay piece. As he should handle Cachin who just isn’t a very good player on clay. Cachin did beat Londero once on clay but that was back in 2018. And these two are on far different levels now. That being said it’s tennis and anything could happen in a couple sets but I think Londero handles him. I wouldn’t suggest getting involved with the -4.5 games though just because that’s a tough number to cover in two sets.

Paire has played a ton of tennis early in this year and has played it very well. He has had a little Lay off here lately though. He should handle Marcora who is coming off his first every main draw tournament win. Marcora Should come into this match with some confidence as he has won his last three matches but the step up in class here will likely be too much. If Marcora takes my money then I’ll tip my hat. But getting behind Paire here at -240 seems like a good deal.

    best of luck.
