If I had as many SBR Points as some of you guys, I'd give a strong look to Christina McHale at +515 vs Melanie Oudin in the SBR Sportsbook. Two young girls, both Americans, McHale hasn't blown up on the WTA scene like Oudin just yet, but that's not to say she isn't deserving of praise herself. By the end of the year her rank should at least be shaved in half.

I don't see why number of points should make a difference. You can put 10 on it either way.

Maybe on the handicap you could make a case for McHale at +5.5 as a decent pick, but Oudin probably wacks her here. McHale wouldn't even be here if Azarenka's hamstring didn't act up again. I don't know about her "promise" either, until she beats someone worth a damn on any surface. She's mainly played ITF events, so stepping up consistently into WTA top tier events will show what she is or isn't made of.
