#2663Gonna avoid it because I would take Reister just out of spite on Hanescu. Hanescu is like Chardy to me now, you never know what you're gonna get. Have a feeling he might win since most are going to go against him.Comment -

#2664CHELA +130
Simply going against Kohlschreiber who is not a great clay court player and seems to be in pretty average form after getting smoked by Mayer last week. Chela certainly has the dirt skills to be a menace here. He played solidly in his opener and should give the German all he wants here with potential for an upset. Even though this is a later match tomorrow, booking it now because I think Chela is going to be pretty solidly backed in this one.Comment -

#2666ATP DOUBLES: MELO-SOARES +110
Really one here where the books appear to have set the line in favor of the "name" with Robredo & Granollers providing the competition in this one. The two Spaniards have teamed up on many occassions this season and last, but surprisingly Robredo & Granollers have been short on success on clay in doubles play and better on hard courts. The two Brazilians, Melo & Soares, have been solid on clay recently. They made the French Open QFs and won the Nice doubles title. Melo made the doubles final of this tournament last year with a different partner, so he should lend experience to this clash as well. At plus money, worthy of a shot. This is the Hamburg tournament and it's a fairly early start at 8am ET for anyone who gives a hoot.Comment -

#2667WEDNESDAY PARLAY: MONTANES + BELLUCCI [-110] Montanes obviously comes into this in great form after winning Stuttgart last week. His opponent, Riba, has some clay skills, but is usually out classed against players on Montanes' level. Might take Montanes part of the 1st set to get suited to the surface, but he should have enough to move on. Bellucci draws Bolelli who also has a good clay court game, but most of Bolelli's wins have come at the Challenger level and inside his home country of Italy. His serve was really solid against Greul in the opener and he played tough in the tie breaks to win. Bellucci has the better talent of the two but does have some of the inconsistencies of youth. He's been off since Wimbledon, so you think he prepped specifically for this tournament and hopefully comes out ready. Won't be surprised to see Bolelli work a set off him, but Bellucci - if his serve stays steady all match - gets on to the next round.Cause Sleep is the Cousin of DeathComment -

#2668Bellucci is top30, he can afford some rest time. That's the disadvantage of being way down the rankings: you need to play every week, scrabble for points in challengers ....... and tire yourself out.Comment -

#2680CHALLENGER PARLAY
BERLOCQ + UNGUR [-140]
Both of these matches are at the Orebetello Challenger on clay in Italy. Outlined Berlocq's recent success on dirt yesterday and he did nothing to deter from the thought that he is in solid form at the Challenger level on dirt with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Di Mauro. His Argentine opponent, Araguren, won in three sets yesterday but has not show the consistency even at the Challenger level this year to beat an in-form player like Berlocq. Ungur is another performer who is in a pretty good run of form with six straight QF or better appearances in clay Challengers. He had few issues in dominating Mektic 6-4, 6-1 in his opener. He draws Crugnola here. The Italian won his opener against a qualifier in routine fashion. Overall though, Crugnola seems better suited to a faster surface. On clay in 2010, he is just 4-10. He has also had a pattern of withdrawing with various ailments this season. With Ungur playing well on the surface, look for him to get the job done.Comment -

#2681Both of last week's champions crashing out today. Montanes & Almagro. No excuses other than let downs because they both had two full days of rest and little travel. Gotta remember to fade more of these tourney winners.Comment -

#2688Also fish is #2 in the ATP in first serves points won.Only dr ivo is better.I think his hardcourt season is going to be scary good. The h2h vs ginepri scares me,but that was FAT mardy not lean and trim and married mardy. His head is totally better now.But the over might be a good play regardless..Comment -

#2694Not my day on parlays. Berlocq played like a total loon. Something may have been fishy about this match. The price plummeted pre-match and then in looking at the way the match went ... I dunno. One other one on the Challenger level where the price has been dropping heavily is on Ouanna at Recanati. He was -260 last night, now just -185 against Stoppini who is not a great hard court guy. One to keep an eye on. Bellucci-Bolelli Total hit at least.Comment -
