Yes. Those are the odds for him to win the tournament. Gremelmayr Challenger play is scheduled to start at 9am ET. Phau-Chiudinelli should be up in minutes.
Donkeydenko gets squashed again. Damn I liked Gimeno, but did not take it.

Parlay complete. Phau down a set after losing the tie break. 2-3 in the 2nd on-serve. Don't think he's going to pull it out. He had numerous chances in Chiudinelli's last service game to break him and couldn't get it done.

phau not looking good at all....i think chiu's serves are too much for him .....chiu's winning this...its a phau holds serve but plays like crap in the last tiebreaker...u made the right pick on phau though eagles...he is just not coming through...he had so many chances to break but doesnt convert a single one

If the rain holds off in Bastad and this other match ends quick, will go with this too:
NIEMINEN-ALMAGRO OVER 21.5 [-125] The Fin isn't useless on clay and has the advantage of having a match on-court already in Bastad. Almagro at his best certainly should take care of Nieminen, but I'm not quite sure that Almagro is 100% from a hip problem he suffered during the grass court season. Sine that injury, he's lost twice on grass with 4 of his 5 sets going to tie breaks. If he's anything but healthy here, Nieminen could push him deep into this one. Expect Almagro to try and use his serve for cheap points as he often does when it's popping. If Nieminen can control his own serve, this one has a shot.

Locking that total in. This other match should be over in ten minutes then Nieminen-Almagro on court with daylight still left.

idk about that over, like you said almagro's serve can be on. and the surface has been extremely high bouncing we saw golubev and cuevas kick serve do some serious damage. almagro has one of the best kickers in the game but luckily nieminen will be able to control it better because he's lefty and will go to the forehand.
GL glad to see you cashed on robredo earlier too

Rain may have helped slow that bounce some too. We'll find out, hopefully if these two chuckleheads get off court.

yea true before the rain golubev was up 6-3 2-1 with a break and then when it started raining robredo was able to control the kicker a lot better. i think the over should hit but we'll see

CHALLENGER PLAY
KINDLMANN -110 The German, Kindlmann, draws Croatia's Ivan Dodig in Remini, Italy today. Form-wise, there is not a ton to separate these two players. Dodig has been mediocre on dirt in 2010 outside of making the final in Ostrava in the Czech Republic in April. He did well at this same tournament in 2009 and did little else outside of that tournament in 2009 on clay. Kindlmann had some physical ailments early in the season and did retire in a match in late June. He returned with a poor result on a German clay Challenger in early July, but appeared fit and played solid in his opener here. Dodig outlasted a lucky loser in three sets in his opener, winning just one more point total for the match than his opponent did. Dodig's game is more of a power game that is better suited to a harder surface. His Challenger clay record is just under .500, while Kindlmann is about a 53% winner on clay Challengers in his career. He was a semifinalist here last year and appears to have taked a liking to the courts here, so in a fairly even match-up, that's where I side. Scheduled for a 1:30pm ET start.

Have you found a live scoreboard for this Aptos Challenger anywhere? I've refused to bet on it because there are no scores available that I have found.

It's funny you can watch a live camera shot of one of the courts, but it shows like one side and you can't tell who it is playing, etc.

That site at least shows the scorelines from past matches. More than you can find anywhere else.
Nieminen just can't do quite enough to extend these service games. Hasn't been horrible, just not good enough to help this total out. Gonna be a loser.

yea magro looks a little slower on the baseline imo, maybe the hip hasn't healed all the way. but that fvcking kick serve is just unreal sometimes. nieminen really should have got the over for you but he screwed up big time

Superb choke by Kindlmann, Up 6-2 in the tie break and he loses it 8-6. Looks like this will be the icing on today's shit cake.

Yeah. Just not a good one today at all. Dodig didn't play that well, he tried to give Kindlmann chances all match - but he didn't do it.
At least Monfils avoided shitting the bed on my futures play on him although he was far from convincing today. Still like his draw a lot.

FRIDAY
HERCOG +105 Hurrying onto this one before Hercog becomes the favorite. Rumor has it that a virus is travelling around the locker room in Prague and that Szavay has been afflicted. She was quoted after her match yesterday as saying that she didn't know if she was going to be able to play until she got onto the court. Hercog beat her earlier this year on clay when she won the opening set 6-4 and Szavay quit in the 2nd set. Szavay was helped yesterday by poor play from Benesova and cooler temperatures. Scheduled high temp for Friday is 92. Her match is set for mid-afternoon, so there won't be any rest from the heat plus she's played a lot in the last week and a half. Line movement is reflecting that this information is spreading quick as Szavay is down from -140 to -125 and Hercog from +115 to +105. Taking a shot that this info is relevant.

Just holding onto the Monfils future. That match is as it is set right now, a toss-up. Monfils surely has more talent on the surface, but he hasn't played like it in months.

CUEVAS +5 [-120] Cuevas vs. Ferrer. Cuevas has been solid through two rounds although he steps up a level in competition against Ferrer. Ferrer did enough against Fognini and took advantage of the service breaks offered up, converting 5 of 7. For Cuevas to keep it close, he'll need to serve on par with what he put up in the 1st two rounds. They've met once before with Ferrer winning 7-5, 6-4. A similar result would be just fine.
