It's funny how quick books will clear your futures plays when they lose a match, but I guarantee they won't pay out as soon as the Championship is complete. Had a Federer future that was erased like lightning quick out of my queued plays at a book.

Parlay complete regardless of the Nadal-Soderling outcome. Guaranteed to go at least 4!

Murray looking good as Tsonga continues to fold. Tsonga's serve didn't get him many cheap points today and he was an error machine. Pretty much the M.O. for Jo-Willy when he loses in Slams. Got Murray alive at +925 going up against Nadal. Will be a difficult hedge to consider. Would think only set betting would help any because Rafa will be a solid favorite again. Since he opened -165 or so against Soderling, would think he gets -180 or better on Murray simply because of the Championship pedigree vs. Murray's relative inexperience this late even though he may have played the best tennis of all the semifinalists.

              THURSDAY

              SERENA-KVITOVA OVER 18.5 [-110]
Most are expecting a carbon copy 6-2, 6-1 white wash for Serena over Kvitova as was the case at the Australian Open this year. Serena has been dominant at Wimbledon, but her opponents have at least been seeing some opportunities for one set. In the last three rounds, Serena has played two 7-5 sets and a 7-6. Her serve has been nearly unbeatable. Kvitova showed tremendous poise in prevailing over Kanepi last round, but will really have to improve her serve. The plus is that her serve had been steady the past two rounds prior to her QF match. If the tall Czech can serve well enough and get her 1st serve in, this could get to 19 games at worst.

              MEN'S DOUBLES: MOODIE/NORMAN [-115]
I'm going with pedigree here over singles players Petzschner & Melzer who have teamed up. That team has faced very little in the way of competition to get to the semifinals, while Moodie & Norman are fresh off a big win over the Bryans. Moodie in particular has found success at Wimbledon in the doubles ranks with a Championship in 2005 and a semifinal trip last year with Norman than ended in a semifinal loss to the Bryans. This team made a solid run at Roland Garros last month to the semis as well, so they have Grand Slam experience. It has been a good reunion for this duo that split at the beginning of 2010 and then got back together in April after finding little success with other partners. Petz & Melzer aren't useless as they did team up to win a doubles event in Croatia early this year on an indoor hard court. I'll side with the experience of Moodie here as he is an accomplished doubles player who is also alive in the QFs of mixed doubles. Remember, this is a best of 5 just like the men's singles and Moodie & Norman should be feeling good after winning in 4 tight sets yesterday.

I think so too, but she has to just have the Soderling vs. Nadal French Open 2009 plan. Just hit the shit out of the ball and go for it.

EP I like the Murray future you have but if you are worried about Nadal take Nadal to win Wimbledon at +130 rather than -165 for this match. The winner of this match is gonna win Wimbledon. Even if Berdych somehow manages to get by Djok, he will be happy just to be in the finals. Murray will not blow this once in a lifetime opportunity against Berdych and Djoker and neither will Nadal (if he continues to stay healthy).

Nadal smells another major right here and with Fed out of the way I am sure Nadal has all the confidence in the world. It's crazy how Nadal and Fed will probably go down as the two best players ever to play the game. A lot of people will disregard Nadal- he's defiinitely not in the convo now, but when he retires, I am sure he be right up there with Fed as far as majors.
It's gonna be nearly impossible to dethrone Nadal as #1 if he stays healthy for a few more years.

Nadal Murray will be an unbelievable match.

Yeah I already discussed that with Stacocakes in his thread about going that way and I agree on that as the proper hedge.

i agree on over 18.5 in the williams/kvitova match. i expect kvitova to give williams a real run for her money, would be disappointed if it didnt hit 19

Unfortunately they're getting railed in the 2nd set, so they're gonna be down 0-2. They lost a tie break in the 1st. Gonna need to get our rally monkey on.

CHALLENGER PARLAY: DABUL (Winnetka) + Russell (Winnetka) [+109]
Dabul has been pretty solid on hard courts on this level in 2010. Raonic has an awful record in 2010 with his two wins this week doubling his yearly win total. Dabul should have the experience edge on this surface. Russell draws de Voest who had not been sharp on outdoor hard surfaces this year until getting to Winnetka, IL. He has beaten a couple of decent Challenger types in Soeda & Peya. Russell though should give him a bigger test as the American has found his best matches on the hard stuff. He has rolled through two matches here. He won a hard court Challenger to start 2010 and then moved up mainly into ATP main draws where he had mixed results. Down here against a veteran like de Voest who is still trying to round into form against stiffer competition, he should have enough to move through.
