All that work by Andreev to force a third set and then he rolls over. Good thing you guys didnt bet him

#37Great day of tennis today. Only bad thing was the loss by Venus. Cant believe she lost her second round match. Lets keep the ball rolloing for wednesday.
Mens
The heavy hitters are out on wednesday and with that comes the heavy prices. Federer,Murray, Nadal,Djokovic and Roddick are all playing and are all over -500. A definate no play for those and no plays for the underdog because I cant see any of those players losing.
Safin/Stepanek
These two havent played for ages. Safin is in horrible form so I cant see him winning this match. Stepanek is -153 and will probably be one of my plays.I am just trying to figure out if I am willing to put my money on him because he has ****ed me in the past. He has matches every once in awhile where he gets completely thrashed, im talking like 6-1 6-2 kinda matches that come out of no where to nobodies so I am going to think about this play overnight.
Garcia-lopez/Youzhny
Garcia-Lopez has won all three times the two have played. They were all on clay but still that speaks volumes and to top it off... Garcia lopez is a +162 dog. Holy shit. Ive already put my bet in for this.
Karlovic/Mathieu
I think Ivo will win this but I dont like laying -183 on him because every time I bet him at big odds he loses. If his serve is not on I could probably beat this ****ing guy. I dont think Mathieu will be able to handle it and karlovic has played well at this tournament in the past so I think he will win this match but I am not going to bet him at that price
Hewitt/Becker
Hewitt has this match and I want to bet him but -370 has pushed me away. He was absolutely brutal in Montreal so I cant justify laying that much to back him.Ill pass
Womens tennis
Safina and Dementieva both have a price that is to big. Jankovic isnt worth it either at -405
Sharapova -355 over Bammer......another line that is to high
Brutal odds for tomorrow.Going to pass on the womens bets. Might make a couple in-game like I did today.Proved to be good so far
Best of luck tomorrow guys. THe play is Garcia-Lopez +162Comment -

#39Good luck with Lopez, I have a feeling Youzhny might be back in some decent form and the GGL might have trouble following up his big win vs. Verdasco, although a win over Verdasco isn't the same as it would have been six months ago. Benneteau is the one I like a lot. Plus odds and he gets a tired Melzer. Oh yeah, he's beaten him a few times on hard courts too. Will probably be my only real money play on Wednesday.Comment -

#41Thegreat to answer your question, you can play in-game betting for tennis at Betfair,Bet 365,Bwin,Pinnacle on some matches. Guess it would depend on where you are located because I know americans cant play at any of those that I listed.
Some more matches are being posted now. I like stepanek as well because Safin has been shit for over a year now.Cant be trusted. Garcia-Lopez is already down to +149 now. Benneteau sounds like a good play as well.
Petzschner at +245 over Berdych looks like a very good play. Berdych just beat him recently but as we all know Berdych is one of the most inconsistant players on tour and if you can get a dog against him at over +200 it should always be worth a shot. Im going to sleep on this play and maybe make the bet in the morning. This match isnt first up so I have some time to think about it still.
The only play I am keeping in the Garcia-Lopez play from earlier that has already been locked in. Im just going to sleep on the benneteau, stepanek and Petz plays. All three have a decent chance to cash. Best of luck tomorrow guysComment -

#42Also debating on Ivanovic over Safarova -153. Its a night match though so it gives me a long time to think about it. Ivanovic is 2-0 career vs safarova. Think that is making me think twice is that Ana played like shit today and almost lost. She is like djokovic right now, confidence is totally shot and you have to tread lightly when backing a player like that. This line is relatively small though for Ivanovic so I am definately going to think about it.Comment -

#43Garcia-Lopez +163 cash money. Straight sets win over Youzhny.
Safina just lost.Wow. I wonder what the odds were on Rezai
Tsonga lost as well. He was a big favorite as well.If we were to have just bet the dogs every match for both tournaments, 100 bucks per match, we would be doing lines of coke in the bahamas right now. Unbelieavable. You would think that since these tournaments are masters series events that the players would actually be trying. So many upsets its unbeliveable
Not really sure at this point if I am going to make any other plays for today.Might just take the Garcia-Lopez money and run.Feels good to actually be up some decent money for the tournament on a wednesday for once. Just looking at the odds right now you can really see where alot of the money is coming in. Becker is being bet hard because Hewitts odds have been bet all of the way down to -264.Like I was saying earlier I felt the odds were to high on Hewitt and it wasnt worth backing him. Davydenkos price has been moving up so some people have been betting him over Kunitsyn. Total no play for me.Never betting Davydenko as a -725 favorite. Chardy/Isner is a complete toss up. 3 or 4 points will decide that match.Nadal over Seppi should be easy but not worth -640. Serena Williams is -623 which is a total no play the way the favorites have been bowing out here. I still have the future on her so I am just going to keep it at that.Jankovic is -400 and I am going to pass on that.To high.
Clijsters/Azarenka at a pick em pretty much.Very interesting. No idea who is going to win this match.
Good thing Djokovic escaped the upset train beating Ljubicic. Still have the future on Djokovic and Nadal for this event
Wish the upsets on the womens side were coming on the same side as Serena. To bad Venus didnt win a ****ing match here because her side of the draw is having the favorites jump ship.
Safin just won the first set over Stepanek. Not sure if you guys ended up betting Stepanek or not.Its hard to look at that match and say that Safin was the right play given his horrible form the last year or so. He will still probably blow this match in three sets but still it amazes me how the dogs are barking all over the ****ing place.
Might have some plays on the night matches tonight. Will think about it for a bit. Best of luck today guys.HOpefully these dogs arent biting anyone on hereComment -

#44The upsets continue. Roddick just lost to Querrey
Ivanovic was serving for the match in the second set but blew it and is now down a break in the third. Going to be interesting to see if she can come back. Ivanovic is on the same side of the bracket as Serena Williams so I hope that she loses to make my serena outright look nicer.
Heard there might be alot of rain in Toronto tomorrow for the Rogers Cup.Might affect the play.Just some heads up for everyone.Wouldnt want to have lots of money tied up with rain delays
Federer/Ferrer - 8-0 Federer career. Fed will win this easy. Roddicks loss has paved the way for Roger to sleep walk through to the semis.
Murray/Stepanek - Murray 2-0 career vs Stepanek. Should be another easy win but Murray is at -1200 which is a no play
Garcia-Lopez/Benneteau - 1-1 head to head. I made some money with Garcia-Lopez today but I am not going to risk any for or against him tomorrow. Match is a toss up. To hard to read it. Just going to pass
Will have more a bit later.Seems the rogers cup lines for tomorrow arent even up yet for some reason and all of the Cincy masters lines arent up eitherComment -

#45The one tomorrow that seems totally off on price is Davydenko vs. Simon. Pinnacle has Simon at +201. Davydenko at -220. I know Davydenko came in with better form, but a lot of that was on clay. This is a price I could actually back Simon on because most of the season, I have been on the Gilles Simon fade tour as I do not think he is anywhere near what he played like late last season. This match-up seems good for him though as both play a similar style. Davydenko had a f-load of errors against Kunitsyn, which is why that one had to go 3 sets. Simon may not have taken control against Andreev till the 3rd in his last match, but the tie breakers in the 1st two sets showed that Simon was at least playing fairly evenly for the match. I see Davydenko as the favorite, but at this price, Simon seems like a clear cut play to me. His losses on hard courts have all come to players with power (Tsonga the last two times). Since this match is in the afternoon, I'll watch where the money goes before actually placing the play because I don't want to get raped if the fix is in & money starts backing Davydenko.Comment -

#46Eagles I agree if there is a play in that match I would play on Simon at those odds because I just dont trust Davydenko. Davy had some problems today but a three set match between two russians is almost a certainty. Simon has won the last two times they have played eachother but they were back in 2007...At that time Davydenko was in poor form and and 'injured'.The one Simon match happened one week before the infamous Martin Vassallo Arugello fixed match with Davydenko where he retired with the injury. He then played Simon again three weeks after so those two wins over Davy were around a time where Davydenko was supposedly injured and under alot of stress dealing with the gambling allegations. Those two wins shouldnt really hold much ground. Out of the two right now, Davydenko is in the better form. The thing that always scared me about Davydenko though, aside from the gambling allegations, was the fact that he said that he would never win a major tournament because he was not talented enough. Leads you to believe that he doesnt have that much confidence in himself so when the going gets tough, hes probably not the best player to back at big odds. Would I be surprised if Simon won this match, nope. Hes a good player but he has just been in poor form recently so if you were just basing this on 'what have you done for me lately?' then Davy would be the play since he is in better form.Im going to pass on the match myself but I agree that if you were to pick one of the players based on odds, it would be better to pick Simon at +200 then to back Davy at -200 something.
Djokovic/Chardy
Does Chardy have a chance as a +457 dog? I dont think so. Djokovic has won both of there meetings and both were on hardcourt. Djokovic had a shit start to the year because he was changing back to head racquets and he lost his confidence and all that jazz. He still admits that he doesnt have it but you will notice something interesting if you look at Djokovics results for this year. Omit the first two tournaments of the year where he lost to Gulbis and Nieminen, which is during the time of the racquet change, it seems that Djokovic can beat all of the players that he is supposed to beat but as soon as he plays someone inside of the top 10, he loses. Lets go through his losses:
Tsonga,Ferrer (on clay), Nadal,Roddick,Murray, Kohlschreiber (Ok I am reaching here. That was a match that DJokovic should not have lost. was at the french open), then Tommy Haas who has been on a mission this year. The point is that he beats the majority of the lesser names and loses to anyone that would be considered as one of the better tennis players, top 10 namely. Of course there is a player that can catch lightning in a bottle like Kohlschreiber and beat him but that rarely happens and if it did, it sure wouldnt happen with a player like Chardy. Hes rather poor and if you look at his last 10 matches you will see that he has beaten players like Lu, Youzhny, Ascione, Beck. A bunch of stiffs. Doesnt mean anything. Of the players that he has played in the top 5 in the world, he has never won a match. Granted he has not played all five of the top five but you get my point. Djokovic wins this. Plus I have Djokovic futures to win this tournament so I definately need him to win haha.
Guccione/ Berdych
Guccione has won both times the two have played. Both were on hardcourt. Betting on Berdych is a good way to go broke fast. Guy has all of the talent in the world and could easily be a top 10 player but he has no heart and no brain so that means he can look like a world beater on one day and then look like just a beat the next day. Im passing on this match. To hard to tell which Berdych shows up. I must be reading this wrong but is this match the night match?Talk about a pile of shit to show at night time. People pay all of the money to get the night time showcase matches and they get this pile of shit? They should just play this match in a gym with no one watching and no one allowed to bet it because all this match will do is make people go broke. Passing on this
I really cant believe Ivanovic lost tonight.I wanted to bet her but have just been so scared to put money down on these ladies. I have the williams outright bets...well just ONE now since Venus decided to shit the bed yesterday but really who can you trust with your money in ladies tennis. Safina is ranked number one in the world, and eventhough that ranking is shit, she should not have lost today to Rezai. How can someone predict something like that to happen. Seeing Venus,Safina,Ivanovic,Azarenka,Wozniacki ,Penetta all go down, how can anyone back a player like Dementieva tomorrow as a -720 favorite?
I really wish I had got on some Sharapova outrights for this tournament. She doesnt really have much in her way. Zvonreva is pretty good but sharapova is better. Seems like the quarter finals are going to be one good player vs a stiff. Should mean that Clijsters or Jankovic will be playing Sharapova or Zvonreva in the semis on the one side and hopefully hopefully Serena/Dementieva on the other side with a serena win.Would be very nice
Radwanska/Bondarenko
I like Radwanska here but -290 is to big. Bondarenko has a chance for the upset but I think this is the classic case of a big letdown after a 'career win' over Venus. Look for Radwanska to win this in two sets.
Sharapova/ Zvonreva
Maria is 5-3 lifetime vs Zvonreva. 5 of the 8 matches have gone three sets.....two russians...three sets.....hmmmmmm see a pattern here. I think if you can get it, over 2.5 sets would be a good bet here. Out of Marias last ten matches, half of them have gone three sets. I like Maria here but there is no real value in -195. You can get Maria NOT to win 2-0 at around even odds and I think I might be making a play on that. She is the night match so I am definately going to wait until the afternoon to pull the trigger on that bet. Marias serve is very shakey so any player with talent can take her to three sets.
Stosur/Razzano
Stosur is 2-0 liftetime vs Razzano. Stosur has been an absolute machine the last half year. Hard to go against her in this situation. Odds are just a bit to high for my liking. Possibly including a parlay with Sharapova and stosur might be a good bet. Maybe throw in a mens player as well.
Dementieva/Peer
Elena at -720, **** no.Peer wont win so no point in betting the +606
Best of luck tomorrow guys. Remember, talk of rain, rain, rain so if you want to bet baseball in the afternoon and at night time, make sure not to have to much money on the tennis matches because there could be some long delays.Comment -

#47By the way, can you guys guess who is number two in the outright odds to win the Rogers cup right now?????????? Kim Clijsters. Her coming back and playing amazing......is that her stating how good she is and has always been OR is that showing how bad womens tennis is that a girl can come back after being away from the game and having a kid and win.Clijsters has always been good so its a really tough call. Given that she has to have alot of rust,I am leaning toward option B above. With that being said, I do think that Clijsters will win against Jankovic. Should be a pretty good match. The over might also be a good play in this match. Going to wait till tomorrow to decide since this is the night match and there is a chance of rain. #48I think one of the things that makes Clijsters able to come back and whip some ass is that she actually has a serve & has some consistency overall to her game. #59watching this serena match it just makes you wonder sometimes. This match looks very similar to the match venus lost earlier in this tournament. I never used to think about the big picture in tennis matches or whether not not matches were manipulated but there are many times where you start to wonder. If a player or someone that wants to bet the player is looking for an easy sport to fix tennis would be the prime candidate because all it takes is one missed shot and that could be the difference between winning and losing. Watching some of these tennis matches though you wonder how many of them are manipulated....how many players just show up for a tournament, get there appearance money, win a couple rounds then say **** it I have better things to do and lose the next match easily...probably happens alot. Watching womens tennis though makes you wonder how it is possible to back any of them at big odds. Look at Dementieva today barely winning in three sets and she was a -700 favorite. How about the recent strings of Ivanovic bowing out to players that are horrible. Betting on tennis like walking through a mine field. You are just hoping with every bet you make that its going to be safe ground and not a mine that you step on.Its beginning to get harder and harder for me to bet some of these tennis matches.Have always been gunshy but this rash of major upsets left and right this week is starting to scare me off. I think at this point, as always, for non majors you play the underdogs and for majors you can play favorites.Comment -

#65Simon chokes away the 1st set. Had a 6-4 lead in the tie break after a Davydenko double fault and wound up losing 8-6 I believe. Pretty much what you expected here though, both broke the other once leading back to the tie break. Simon won't win if he keeps his 1st serve percentage at 50. Davydenko won that first set because he got more 1st serves in. Both got hammered on their second serve.Comment -
